ABOUT USXCMG Zimbabwe (PVT) Ltd is a company incorporated in Zimbabwe with a focus on just everything about construction and mining machinery, from a world-class manufacturer of high-performance equipment and spares.

XCMG Zimbabwe is a strategic partner of XCMG Co.Ltd China — a renowned global multi-billion dollar construction and mining equipment giant ranked number one in China and fifth largest in the world — under a joint venture deal with a group of local investors who hold a majority stake.

Since its founding in Xuzhou in 1989, our parent company XCMG Co., Ltd has established a footprint in many countries across the globe, and its machinery has been deployed in many parts of the world.

In these markets, XCMG Co., Ltd has established a tract and built a celebrated reputation as a manufacturer and supplier of an array of high-performance machines, powered by some of the world's tried and tested engines such as Cummins and Isuzu.

Board of DirectorsThe strategic vision of XCMG Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd is championed by a Board of Directors with diverse knowledge and experience, which is essential to oversee the operations of the company and to monitor the implementation of strategic plans.

Mr. Lawrence GudoDirector

Lawrence Gudo is the Group CEO of Tarcon (Pvt) Ltd, a multi-faceted civil engineering, construction and bulk earthworks company with many mining contracting and infrastructure projects in Zimbabwe, having joined the company as Group Finance Director in October 2011.

A qualified Chartered Certified Accountant by profession, Lawrence has previously served in various senior management positions at Murray and Roberts Zimbabwe, Old Mutual South Africa, Nissan South Africa as well as Group Five South Africa. His Corporate Financial management and business systems experience spans over 12 years.

Lawrence began his accounting career with Deloitte and Touché Bulawayo, serving articles, working with a diverse portfolio of clients in various sectors, inter alia, Construction, Retail, Hospitality and Manufacturing.

He is a holder of a BCom Accounting (Honours) Degree from the National University of Science and Technology and a diploma in Business Analysis and Business Modelling (RSA).

Lawrence is a member of ACCA and sat on the ACCA (SA) board as a committee member until August 2011. He is also a Trustee responsible for the financial affairs of the Colchester Board corporate.

Mr. Supa Mandiwanzira Chairman

Supa Collins Mandiwanzira is a respected businessman with roots in the media, where he has made an epic rise from a business journalist to a successful media mogul.

He owns and runs ZiFM Stereo, Zimbabwe's first privately-owned and funded radio station founded in 2012. The footprint of his media business includes Mighty Movies (Pvt) Limited, the largest television production company in the country, and a popular premier cinema company known as Rainbow Cinemas.

Supa currently chairs the board of directors of local construction giant Tarcon (Pvt) Ltd and also sits on the boards of TelOne, Zimbabwe’s sole fixed telephone operator, and Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation (ZMDC), a Government mining investment vehicle, which holds title to a large portfolio of mining interests in diamond, gold, platinum, iron and other minerals. He is a member of National Economic Consultative Forum, a Government policy think-tank.

His previous board appointments include Financial Gazette (Pvt Ltd),

which he chaired for five years, and parastatals of strategic

importance to Zimbabwe such as CMED (Pvt) Limited and Minerals

Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe, the sole marketer of all minerals

produced in Zimbabwe except gold and silver.

Supa holds a Masters Degree in International Journalism from City

University in London where he specialised in financial and economic

reporting.

His journalism career rolled together some big names in the local and

international news media industry, among them, The Herald

(Zimbabwe's leading daily newspaper), Zimbabwe Broadcasting

Corporation TV, Summit TV (a Johannesburg-based satellite

television channel jointly owned by Avusa and the Financial Times of

London), the SABC TV, BBC World Service radio and Aljazeera English

Television.

Ms Miao HuijunDirector

Miao Huijun is the Director of Africa for XCMG Imp & Exp Co Ltd, a division of XCMG Co., Ltd.

She has served the group in this position since 1992 with the responsibility of overseeing the performance of technical support personnel and the sale of plant and spares.

Her duties also include following up on customers' level of satisfaction with XCMG equipment and service, and advising customers on appropriate and effective equipment for use in construction and mining.

Before her current appointment, Miao worked in Xuzhou heavy machine factory as a translator, information selector and trainer from 1980 to 1992.

Miao studied English Language at TongJi University.

Mr. Zhai Yunbin Profile Director

A Vehicle Engineer by profession, Zhai Yunbin brings into the XCMG Zimbabwe board more than 20 years of experience in Business Management attained while working with China North Industries Corporation (Norinco).

Norinco — a reputable manufacturer of vehicles, machinery, and defence products such as firearms and ammunition — is ranked one of China's 500 largest state-owned enterprises by assets and revenue.

Zhai holds Bachelor's Degree in Vehicle Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology and another in International Trade from the Nanjing Institute of Technology.

From 1990 until today, he has held various positions within the Norinco group, notably as Business Manager of Norinco Thailand Office from 1995 to 1996 and as Business Manager of Norinco Zimbabwe from 1996 until 2003.

Prior to that, he served at Norinco Head office as Business Manager participating in negotiations with foreign partners and preparing, together with a team of experts, product information supplied by manufacturers of Norinco group.

Zhai understands the Zimbabwean terrain having spent seven years in the country as project leader, and, lately as Chief Representative of Norinco, a position he has held since 2008.

History of XCMGXCMG is short for Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd, merged and founded in 1989.

Since then, the company has struck Joint Ventures with the world famous enterprises of construction equipment, such as Caterpillar, Meritor and PAT, to produce new equipment models.

Today, XCMG Co., Ltd has grown into the largest construction machinery manufacturer in China, operating 26 factories around Xuzhou and employing more than 20,000 employees.

XCMG Co., Ltd is well known for a complete series of construction machinery, which has reached many parts of the world through its extensive global distribution network.

The product line includes all terrain truck cranes, truck cranes, crawler cranes, pick and carry cranes, truck mounted cranes, compactors, finishers, loaders, mini-loaders and backhoes, motor graders, excavators, concrete equipments, drilling rigs, and aerial fire platforms.
