Zion
Zion is located in the lower southwest part of Utah
Zion is known for the most easiest to access National parks
Probably the most user friendly park as well
Zion is populated by high elevations, wide open and leveled spaces
Angels landing is a small intense hike through Zion.
The only thing keeping you from falling is a chain hooked to the mountain
Zion is 85 miles from the Grand Canyon. On April, 12 1955, there were heavy rains that triggered a landslide in Zion park. In less than 24 hours they had to build a road system to get through the slide. Of course the road was temporary, but was replaced by a permanent road during the first halve of 1956.
Zion
All of the cool shapes and layers of rock are formed by the flowing water in Zion.
Designated in 1919 Zion is one of the OLDEST national parks.
In the winter Zion gets lots of snow.
The picture on the left > is a example of what it looks like at angels landing in the winter.
This is a natural bridge, it is formed by erosion, wind, water and sunlight.
Some are really big and some are really small
Ta-da!
