He played 237 games (228 starts) and logged 20,516 minutes for Kansas City, setting team records in both categories. He scored eight goals and added 22 assists in his nine seasons in Kansas City blue. Zavagnin was named Wizards Defender of the Year in 2001.

On top of his club success in Kansas City, Zavagnin also appeared 21 times for the United States National Team. He recorded one assist for the Red, White and Blue. The U.S. team went 15-2-4 when Zavagnin appeared. Zavagnin married wife Mirriam prior to the 2009 season.

After retiring as a player in 1991 Savic turned his attention to coaching in the indoor game. Savic later coached the Kansas City Comets from 2000-2005.

In 2007 Savic switched to the outdoor game, joining Chivas USA as an assistant to then-head coach Preki before moving into the commentary booth for Kansas City Wizards matches in 2008 and 2009. Savic’s career as a commentator was cut short, however, when newly installed Wizards Manager Peter Vermes tabbed Savic to be part of his coaching staff late in the 2009 season.

“Soy rápido, fuerte y voy bien arriba.
