Automatic and reliable so that equipment can be moved when energized by being connected to the Zonit micro ATS units to a secondary power source. Automatic transfer from A power supply to B power supply when needed.

ZONIT µATS

• Allows Single power Supply devices in the network to be cost effectively connected to redundant A-B power paths

• Eliminates the primary cause of downtime for the network by delivering the A-B power path

• Makes it possible to test Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units in network closets or remote sites during normal business hours

• Helps to eliminate overloading caused by plugging too many loads into a branch circuit

• The µATS provides current monitoring and warning indicators to help prevent branch circuit overloading

The yellow LED will illuminate when the unit reaches a 8A load at 240v. This is the maximum continuous load so that headroom is available for inrush currents that occur when IT equipment is cold and maximum current is drawn as fans, disk drive, etc. all powered when first plugged into a 13A branch Circuit.

The Zonit μATS™ solves many common problems with power distribution and enables new and highly efficient patent pending methods of power distribution. • The Zonit Micro Automatic Transfer Switch is the world’s smallest ATS and solves the problem of supplying A+B redundant power to single power supply devices.

• The Zonit μATS draws power from A and monitors power quality. The

Zonit ATS will automatically switch to secondary B power when A fails or becomes degraded in quality.

• The Zonit Micro ATS will switch back to A when it returns and is of

sufficient quality. The Zonit Micro ATS will transfer regardless of phase

angle between A and B.

Why use the Zonit µATS?

99.9% Efficient Power Distribution The Zonit Micro ATS (μATS) enables 99%+ efficient power distribution methods in the data center. It allows data

center devices to be preferentially connected to filtered utility power on the A side and an Uninterruptible Power

Supply (UPS) on the B side, which is only used when A is down. Eliminating UPS power conversion losses saves 3-

15% of data center power usage compared to redundant UPS designs, which can save millions of dollars in energy costs. The µATS™ is 99.75% efficient, using only 125mA in normal operation. This maximizes data center Power

Utilization Efficiency (PUE).
