The BAR thick mounting plate system has been developed to offer the appropriate mounting plate thickness for inset doors with face frame cabinets. This eliminates the need to "build up" to match the face frame interspace (IS) dimension.

This 155º hinge has zero protrusion at 90º. Uses same reduction clips as 165º hinge to give 110º and 125º swing. 8mm deep die-cast cup.

Possible drilling distance on the door (K) : from 3 to 8mm. Compatible with all traditional Series 200 mounting plates and with all DOMI® snap-on mounting plates. Self-Closing.

Note: Zero protrusion is achieved with 0mm + 2mm plates.

Use these formulas to determine the type of hinge arm, the drilling distance "K" and the height of the mounting plate "H" which is necessary to solve each application problem.

Rotate the cam 180º clockwise until the pointed part of the cam covers the orange dot. The steel teeth of the cam are now fixed to the inner walls of the hole.To remove hinge, simply rotate the cam 180º counter-clockwise. Close hinge and pull gently away from door.

The Salice "Rapido" features standard door drilling. It is time saving and cost effective: the hinge is fixed directly to the door, no adapter or machine insertion is required. Dowels are permanently fixed to the hinge. No components remain in the door after removal.

Note: A hand-held screwdriver is the only tool needed. (A power screwdriver is not recommended.)

Salice LapisRevolutionizing Shape and Perception

Lapis is the new system for Silentia hinges with a damping system integrated in the cup with a cover.

At present, hinges are available for Full and Half Overlay doors with 16 mm min. thick-ness, with 13.5 deep cup, 110° opening and door drilling pattern “K” from 3 to 6 mm.

Lapis hinge system only works in combinationwith straight line Domi snap-on mounting plates (BAP). Mounting the new hinge uses the same standard drilling patterns as in tra-ditional furniture hinges and it does not need special workings on door and cabinet side.

Lapis is a hinge system which offers industry-leading characteristics of adjustment, strength, durability and damping performance.

The product technique consists of two covers which move with the hinge elements synchro-nously, hiding the technical components and enriching the product with refined aesthetics, far removed from the traditional geometries of furniture hinges.

To locate baseplate position slide baseplate onto a loose hinge and tighten fixing screw. Place hinge w/plate as shown in the picture and mark location of baseplate. Fasten baseplate with wood screws & hinge-arm onto plate leaving approx. 1/16" gap between door and cabinet.

HOW TO MOUNT GRASS HINGES

A trial mounting (mock-up) is advisable for every new application. Locate 1-3/8" (35mm) diameter hole on door and drill to required depth depending on hinge cup. Select hole location between 1/8" and 3/16" from front edge of door.

For example, if the cabinet end panel thickness is 3/4" then 3/16" is required. Press the hinge cup into the hole and secure with wood screws.

"DELTA" FITTING SOFT DOWN DOOR STAY

FITTING FOR LIDS, DROP-DOWN AND LIFT-UP DOORS

Function Actuator (AC) changes direction of brake from up-opening to down-opening.

Tension control Braking tension (BR) adjusts with #4 Allen wrench.

Simply pressing the actuator (AC) permits the upper arm to be passed to one side or the other, changing the braking action from braking when closing to braking when opening. In this way the functioning for lift-up doors and lids is changed to functioning for drop-down doors.

• Strong, die-cast nickel-plated zamak for lids up to 20 lbs! Lighter lids require only one fitting. Only 8" long overall.

• All holes on 32mm centers and can be placed either 27mm or 32mm from the leading edge for users of the 32mm combination drilling system.

• Reverses tension direction from LIFT-UP to DROP-DOWN function. Adjusts from sliding, braking action to hold at intermediate positions.

• Angle of opening varied from 75º to 90º by relocation of brackets and varies according to type of hinge used.
