Haneul (sky) Park - one of the five parks that make up the World Cup Park complex, and the one with the highest elevation - fittingly contains an observatory offering great views of seoul. To the north, you can see the mountains of Bukhansan, Namsan and the seoul 63 square building to the east, the Hangang River to the south, and Haengjusanseong Fortress to the west. If you head to the park’s highest point, you will see five enormous windmills actively being used to generate electricity. In the summer, there is a sunflower festival held when the sunflowers are in bloom, while in the fall, the seoul silver Grass Festival is held in a vast field where the purple silver grass are in bloom. spring, summer, fall, and winter – the four seasons in seoul could not be any more distinct from each other, and each season lures the travelers with its unique charms. In spring, numerous flowers come in full bloom in seoul, but forsythias, azaleas, rhododendrons, and cherry blossoms can especially be appreciated around the city. In summer, the swimming pools open at Hangang Park, and refreshing, grand fountains cool the passersby near the big attractions. Hiking is ideal in the fall when the foliage becomes dappled with red and yellow, along with blooming silver grass. In the cold winter, skating rinks open at seoul Plaza and at MBC Mall Park where visitors can enjoy exciting winter sports.

Traditionally, Koreans visited jjimjilbangs to relieve exhaustion through warming the body and sweating, by resting in a medium to highly-heated enclosed space. Today, jjimjilbangs have become much more than simple relaxation spaces, and are popular tourist attractions that men and women of all ages can enjoy together.

How to Use a Jjimjilbang❶ Pay the entrance fee. Receive locker keys for your shoes and clothes.❷ store your shoes in the shoe locker. Go to designated sauna areas for men and women and take a quick shower.❸ Unisex areas must be entered fully clothed. You will be provided with a set of loose-fitting clothes to wear.❹ saunas and related facilities may be used as much as you want.❺ Any fees incurred while inside the jjimjilbang may be charged to your locker key.❻ When you’re done, check-out at the counter to pay for any extras that you consumed during your visit.

Open every day of the year, the Dragon Hill spa is also equipped with a heated outdoor pool, PC-room, video games, playgrounds for children, movie theater and shops, making it a great choice to visit with the entire family.

When the kids are feeling sick, taking them to the hospital must seem like a priority, but ointments for simple wounds, band-aids, anti-nausea medicine and more can be easily purchased at pharmacies. This handy list of medicines sold at pharmacies should help you manage many unforeseen situations quickly. When making a purchase, please let the pharmacist verify the exact symptoms as well as the age (in months) of the child.

In case of an emergency, it is possible to ask the people around you for directions to a hospital, but if you already have the information prepared for a children’s hospital nearby, it will be much easier to handle unforeseen circumstances.
