『Start Your Impossible』Event planning & management

“Announcement of changing to a mobility company” Event Launching in Southeast Asia

PRAP POINTS helped organize and implement a launching event for Toyota in Singapore as part of their 2020 Tokyo Olympics Partnership promotion campaign under the tagline “Start Your Impossible” in Southeast Asia. The campaign was conducted in Singapore as a model case for Southeast Asia region, and welcomed the participation of Singaporean government officials along with Singaporean, Indonesian and Japanese media. A talk session with Singapore's Olympians and Paralympians was also planned to disseminate Toyota’s message about “Start Your Impossible” campaign to Southeast Asia.

The console game “Winning Eleven 2018” was selected as a demonstration esports game title for the “18th Asian Games Jakarta-Palembang 2018”, taking place in Indonesia. On this occasion, PRAP POINTs helped raise awareness of Winning Eleven in Indonesia and e-sports competitions by holding a press event, off-party, and tie-up articles.

PRAP POINTS supported booth exhibition and operation at "INDONESIA COMIC-CON 2019“, the largest pop culture event in Indonesia. PRAP POINTS was assigned to build a ticket promotional campaign for Tokyo Metro in Vietnam market. As part of the campaign, we held a press release event for media in Ho Chi Minh City, and arranged everything from venue selection, booking, construction, etc. based on client’s need. We also partnered with a local PR company for 30 media invitation and tie-up article bookings. We also asked a popular Japanese-related KOL, Man Tien, to talk about her experience in Japan in a talk show during the event.

We set up an experience zone for media participants to experience products, and product announcement was livestreamed by country managers on YouTube and Facebook.

PRAP POINTS helped conduct a launch event in Thailand for Redmi Note 7, a new product from Xiaomi. An experience zone was set up for media, and KOLs to experience products. Xiaomi country managers also livestreamed about their product announcement.

FOVE is an HMD company which developed the world's first VR headset with eye-tracking technology. An up and coming player in the field, it amassed more than $480,000 from its KickStarter campaign and obtained funding from Samsung Ventures amongst others. POINTS managed all aspects of FOVE’s exhibition at Tokyo Game Show 2016, from booth conceptualization to construction and operations, demonstrating its VR technology to domestic and international partners alike.

PRAP POINTS planned and operated the new product press conference in Japan, which was held prior to the release of MMORPG "LineageM" for smartphones in Korea. The game was pre-registered by 5.5 million users in Korea and ranked first in the "Google Play Store" for 98 consecutive weeks after release. The game was also pre-registered by 2.5 million users in Taiwan and ranked first in the "Google Play Store" for 67 consecutive weeks in Taiwan after release.

Information Distribution by Influencer from Tokyo Tour (Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines)

As the Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau aimed to spread the awareness of travel tickets to tourists from Southeast Asia, PRAP POINTS was assigned to promote a Tokyo sightseeing tour using influencers from Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines. Live information was disseminated multiple times during and after the trip. A wide range of content including SNS posting, videos recommended route map by influencers in Tokyo.

In order to reach out to female consumers in Indonesia with high purchasing power, PRAP POINTS partnered with GRID, an Indonesian popular women’s magazine, and invited their journalists to Daimaru Department stores in Kyoto, Umeda and Sapporo for tie-up articles. The articles were made in local language and well-spread on SNS platforms in order to effectively deliver the appeal of Daimaru Department stores to the Indonesian consumer market. PRAP POINTS provided public relations support for the public relations department of TOYOTA MOTOR ASIA PACIFIC (Singapore), the Southeast Asian regional headquarter, on a secondment basis. We offered total assistance from daily and regular work to emergency support such as events and risk management. We also helped develop corporate cooperation between Toyota regional headquarter and the head office in Japan.

「Pokémon Center」was open for the first time in Singapore Airport’s retail space. The opening ceremony welcomed the participation of many media in Singapore and neighboring countries for event coverage. In response to this, PRAP POINTS provided support for monitoring and clipping of exposure articles across 6 Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore / Indonesia / Malaysia / Philippines / Thailand / Myanmar.

Report were then submitted a day after, 3 days after, and 1 month after the event.

PRAP POINTS provided news release distribution for JETRO exhibition in Singapore. Our release distribution service allowed simultaneous news release delivery by “wire service with guaranteed publication” and “release distribution to journalist’s personal email address” in Singapore and Asia. The total event coverage were published on 95 media, exceeding the expected 13 guaranteed publication.

As part of the Tokyo Metro campaign in Vietnam, we invited KOL Man Tien, a popular Japanese-related KOL in Vietnam, to visit Tokyo and produced a commercial video of sightseeing in Tokyo featuring a 3-day subway ticket. We provided support in all aspects from assembling itineraries, obtaining permission to shoot at each location in Tokyo, arranging photographers to checking video quality. The reviews were delivered from an insightful perspective of game professionals.

Targeting the increasing numbers of Thai tourists to Japan, we created an advertising campaign to promote Kumamoto prefecture’s Rail Pass. Surveying major OOH advertising spots in Thailand, we supported the media selection and media buying from local Thai agencies and implemented a video campaign on LED displays at 21 strategic locations.

Offline Advertising Campaign to Increase Brand Awareness

In conjunction with 130 Years of Thailand – Japan Friendship, we unrolled a large-scale OOH advertising campaign in Bangkok’s Siam area, the city centre for both locals and tourists alike. In addition to large scale outdoor display advertising, we also implemented 119 units of OOH advertising in the high-end Siam Paragon mall as well as BTS train-body advertisements. POINTS supported all areas of the project from media selection and buying to conceptualization, implementation and reporting.

In response to Kao’s need to understand consumer behavior and media landscape in Thailand and Malaysia for their cross-border approach from Japan’s head office, PRAP POINTS worked with local graduate students from each country for data collection and reported consumer behavior towards information exposure and media insights based received raw information.

World Masters Games (WMG) is an international comprehensive sports competition organized by the International Masters Games Association (IMGA) every four years that is open to all sports enthusiasts over the age of 30. Originating in Ginza, Shiseido aimed to appeal to Chinese consumers with its brand image and purchasing promotion in Ginza. A mobile campaign for Chinese domestic market was held along with the National Holiday of China. In addition, before and after the National Day, a real stamp rally was held at Shiseido four locations in Ginza.

Sampling and Coupon Distribution to Luxury Hotels for Wealthy Chinese Consumers

With the aim of offering trial opportunities of “THE GINZA”, a Shiseido luxury line, to wealthy Chinese visiting Japan, we helped Shiseido conduct sampling at luxury hotels in Japan that are particularly popular with Chinese tourists. Coupons can be obtained from sampling to motivate purchase at duty-free shops. With more than 300,000 reach, including online and offline, a total of 274 people came to the store.

In addition to Panasonic’s promotion campaign of Doltz toothbrush for Chinese consumers partnering with a renowned Japanese dentist, we helped conduct a seminar on whitening teeth with the participation of 5 KOLs, 30 media and a leading KOL from professional entertainment office (MCN) in China, Koshiboshi Tosho. Content about the lecture was spread by top-level KOLs, and press release was distributed at the same time.
