Lupamat entered the compressed air sector in 1968 in Bornova, İzmir. Dirinler Machinery IndustryDirinler Machinery Industry was incorporated in 1952. In present, it has an indoor area of 12.000 sqm established on a total land of 24.000 sqm. Our specialist and well-experienced engineers and technicians in the R&D department make technical drawings and 3D modeling of each part using Pro/Engineer software. The modeled parts are subjected separately to static, dynamic, thermal and vibration analysis, using the ANSYS finite elements analysis software, and optimized to provide the best service to our esteemed customers.

After thorough examination of the designs, each product is manufactured accurately and is inspected with the most advanced test devices. Critical thermal, vibration, noise, flow-rate and power values are measured and recorded analogically, using the test devices exclusively designed for Lupamat compressors. Each compressor is subjected to tests with the most challenging conditions for at least 4 hours, in order to assure flawless delivery of our products

Simple pressure vessels are designed according to EN 13445 and EN 286, using the OHMTECH software designed for this purpose. Each pressure vessel is one by one subjected to a hydrostatic test under the pressure of level 1,5 times of its regular working pressure, in order to secure that no safety problems will be experienced.

Screw BlockScrew blocks used in our compressor series of LKV-Mi, LKV-CN, LKV CRT and LKV-CRTK are Aerzener, GHH-RAND or Rotorcomp brands. These single staged oil injected screw blocks are manufactured with high technology; which provide efficiency, top quality and low energy consumption.Drive System: There exist different types of drive systems in our oil or oil free screw compressor series of LKV-Mi. For example, screw blocks of our LKV-Mi type compressors are driven by electric engines and V-belt as a standard feature and equipped with belt tensioning system which can be adjusted easily.Upon customer request, this product can also be manufactured with engine speed control unit equipped with inverter and integrated into the electric panel for energy saving; and with direct coupled screw block-electric engine. Alternatively, again upon customer request, our productions can also be manufactured with direct coupled electric engine-gear group integrated to the screw block.

Cooling SystemAir discharged from the air/oil separator, which is cooled by the after cooler air cooler down to a temperature around 10-15 °C higher than the ambient temperature, and the oil cooler, which is controlled with thermostatic Mixing valve and ensuring the delivery of oil in most proper temperature to the screw block, are coupled and cooling air is supplied by this way. Compressed air and oil line is composed of steel pipes and hydraulic hose in a way not to be effected from vibrations and expansions. In our compressors of 75 kW and above, air and oil cooling is provided by a radial fan equipped with a suction system from out of the cabin, which ensures more effective cooling of oil and air.

Air Intake FilterTwo staged, covered with dust protection, automatic drain, paper elements which can be changed easily, and air filter set with Mann+Hummel branded electrical indicator.

Adjustable working order based on air consumption (proportionally)Control for the variable capacity automatically entering into the system according to your air usage is carried out by the proportional control valve which is given as standard equipment.

Hose ConnectionsIn hydraulic connections, we use “GATES” brand hoses. Hydraulic connection manufacture is made in our own premises with state-of-the-art machinery which allows absolutely no leakage.

Compressor Cabin ProtectionThis is a standard feature in our LKV-Mi and LKV-CRT, CRTK series and is assembled both on the chassis and the compressor. Mechanically locking covers, which can be opened from all sides, provide easy repair, maintenance and control processes in accordance with the EC regulations and standards. For noise insulation, inside walls are covered with fireproof sponge material to decrease working noise level to minimum.

Oil Separation TankSeparates oil from air in two stages. At the outlet of the seperator tank, oil content of the air is maximum s 2-3 ppm. Lubrication is provided by the help of pressure difference in the separator tank, without use of any oil pump.

Micro-ProcessorThis is a standard feature in our LKV series. Control system is equipped with micro-processor and LCD screen designed especially for Lupamat. Operation mode, pressure and temperature values, maintenance schedules, troubles stopping and not stopping the machine, replacement schedules of the roller, oil filter, air filter, and many more processes can be followed on the LCD screen.

Electric PanelEngine starter contactors, auxiliary contactors, engine protection thermal relays, fuses, phase order protection relay with thermistor, which controls engine temperature and rotation direction of the screw block, transformer etc. are selected from the brands certified with CE and used as a standard feature on the electric control system of our compressors of LKV series.

Electric EngineAsynchronous electric engines of GAMAK, WATT and ABB brands, which are of isolation class F ensuring energy saving, IP 55 class, IE2 efficiency class and certified with CE, are used on our compressors of LKV series.

We offer various alternatives on our LKV-Mi series based on customer requests. LKV-Mi type compressors can be manufactured as oil injected and with air cooling systems; or with water cooling system, which enables energy saving; or as oil free with dry air.

Oil Heater Upon customer request, LKV-Mi series screw air compressors can be equipped with oil heating element (resistance) with an adjustable thermostat, which is installed to keep the oil in separator tank at +40 °C. This helps the compressor switch to operation mode faster, prevents compressor oil to freeze in cold weathers and prevents damages to screw block at the startup. Another advantage of the oil heater is that it avoids condensation, which may occur in the system during winter and protects the compressor against rusting.

Multi-Operation SystemOn our oil or oil free screw or reciprocating air compressors of LKV-Mi series, it is possible to operate 7 compressors only with one micro-processor based on compressed air requirements of the plant. It ensures energy saving and equal aging. For example, if there are 3 different screw air compressors having free air efficiencies, at 22, 45, 75 kW 10 bar; it is possible to operate the compressors alternately by simply entering the parameters to the micro-processor. In another example, let’s say that daily compressed air requirement of a factory is mostly covered by the 45 kW compressor. If, for some reason, more compressed air is required, the compressor of 75 kW can be activated while the compressor of 45 kW can be switched to stand-by mode, which prevents undesired production stops. Or, in contrast, if air production of 75 kW compressor is too much, it can be switched to stand-by mode and at the same time, the compressor of 22 kW can be activated according to air requirement of the plant which provides energy saving. Operation of compressors alternately according to the compressed air requirements prevents undesired production stops and ensures effective energy savings in the same time.

Heat RecoveryWhen you calculate your annual expenditure of fuel consumption to heat office/production areas, material warehouses or to heat water, you will reach a quite high figure. In order to make savings on these expenditures, heat exchanger integrated to oil cooling system and additional control mechanisms are added to our LKV-Mi type compressors with 37 kW and above. Accordingly, hot water obtained during oil cooling operation can be used for various purposes to cover the hot water requirement of the company.

Oil leaving the screw block returns back to the screw block over the filter until it reaches the required temperature. When its temperature is raised, entire oil is delivered to the heat exchanger. Oil, while passing through the exchanger, is cooled down with water which in effect heats up the water used. Hot water obtained from this process can be used in the heating system of your company by simply connecting it to the heating plant. LKV-CN is the economy series screw air compressors with oil injection and air cooling system. This model has a screw block, is equipped with V-belt-pulley driven electric engine and air cooling system seated on rubber wedges connected to the chassis and is designed with sound-proof cabin. Lupamat Booster compressors provide efficiency and economy with their suction pressure options of 7.5, 10 and 13 bars and with their air output pressure of 40 bars. With combination connection and with its uninterruptedly operation even under the most difficult work conditions, it covers the continuous compressed air requirements in PET bottles and food industry as well as in other sectors. Its compressor block is Lupamat’s own production and it has concentric suction and delivery valves, enabling maximum efficiency and long use lifespan.

Compressor cylinders and crank shaft are casted in ductile iron material in single pieces, therefore these parts provide easy maintenance and repair works and the cast parts, after having been stress relieved, are machined within the precise tolerances and each part is subjected to quality controls. After the primer coat application, then the pistons are assembled to the cylinders and onto the body. Thereafter, equipment is assembled on the solid chassis. Body, cylinders and produced compressed air are effectively cooled by the after-cooler and with fan fins on the flywheel. Compressor is driven by V-belt and electric engine. Tensions of the V-belts are easily adjusted with the adjustable tensioning system. Compressor together with its all components is assembled on the chassis. It is protected with a cabin, which is covered with noise isolation material and equipped with doors, which can be opened from every sides, to ensure easy accessibility during maintenance and repair works.

Scroll compressors are developed by the cooperation between Japan Anest Iwata company and Lupamat and these compressors are 100% oil free, very noiseless, efficient and reliable. Scroll compressors with drier to be integrated are especially very suitable and ideal for the dentistry sector, operating with dry and quality air.

Scroll compressor, which is a product of superb technology, is available in a on chassis assembled and closed with a single part cover to ensure noise insulation way, as well as equipped with receiver mounted insulation cabin protection and can be easily operated in laboratories and dentist cli-nics, as it operates noiseless and vibration free. Compressor’s main parts are consisted of two spirals, one of these spirals is fixed and the other one produces compressed air with its eccentric rotation. Capacity could be increased up to 8 x 400 = 3.200 lt/Min. with the multi-scroll units app-lication in the same cabin (Engine power 8 x 4 kW = 32 kW). It activates respectively between 400 and 3200 lt/Min. according to the requirement and ensures energy saving at any moment.

Lupamat developed a first in as the result of long R&D studies and finalized the manufacture of oil free, high pressure, high flow rate, multi-staged, water cooling, reciprocating air compressor consisted 80% from domestic materials, in accordance with the CE-Regulations and Standards. In general, this type of compressors is used mostly in PET bottle productions. This design is designed and manufactured not only for PET bottle production, but also to meet the requirements of all of other sectors, where oil free and uninterrupted compressed air is used. For example, compressors of less or more bars and/or in higher or lower flow rates are designed according to the customer demands and manufactured according to the air requirements of the company, to use in productions of the related company.

LYPS-Type Oil-free Reciprocating Air Compressors (3-8-10-13-40 bar)

• V-Type, 3 staged• Body and stage cylinders are made of cast iron in EN GJL-250 quality, stress relieved and precisely machined.• Crank shaft is manufactured in a single piece cast in ductile iron of EN GJS 600-3 quality and stress relieved. Working surfaces of the ball-bearings and connecting rods, after having been machined, were grinded.

• Connecting rods are consisted of two parts and made of a material cast in ductile iron of EN GJS 600-3 quality, which were machined, after having been stress relieved. After working surfaces of connecting rods on the crank shaft were plated with a specifically alloyed material, these parts were machined cavernously according to the crank shaft’s diameter.• All of the stage cylinders are controlled with hydro-static tests, before applying any assembling process.

• Air pipes on the air inlet and outlet lines between the stages are controlled and x-rayed after the completion of welding processes and subjected to hydro-static tests.. • Linear movements of 1st and 2nd stage piston shafts are provided with sliding bearing type piston.• 1st and 2nd stage pistons and sliding bearing type piston were in specifically alloyed aluminum material and machined, after having been stress relieved.

Product Specification:

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage pistons were manufactured from PTFE material specially designed for Lupamat and are of long use lifespan.• Suction and delivery valves on all of the stages were specially designed and manufactured for Lupamat.• Both ends of crank shaft were beared with ball-bearings.• Although the compressor is producing oil free air, certain mechanic parts are automatically lubricated by the oil pump, driven by the crank shaft. • There exist oil scraper packages and pressure leak-tightness packages on the 1st and 2nd stages, in order to prevent oil contamination to air from the piston shafts.

• Compressed air outlet from the stage cylinders is passed first through the water cooled exchanger, and after having been cooled there, passed to the other stage. • After the assembly of compressor head was completed, compressors together with other components are installed on the chassis made of solid NPU profile.• Our compressor is driven by engine with V-belt and equipped with easy adjustable tensioning system.• Compressed air outlet from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage cylinders are controlled by temperature and pressure sensors. • Stage cylinders are cooled by the circulation of water delivered from the closed system water cooling tower.

• Air tank of 40 bars is manufactured in accordance with the CE regulations and standards and after having been x-rayed and evaluated, subjected to hydro-static pressure test. • Closed circuit water cooling tower,• Circulation pump,• Air dryers and filters,• Compressor is equipped with Micro-processor specifically designed for Lupamat. Lupamat compressed air tanks designed either horizontally or vertically with capacities from 50 lt to 890 lt are manufactured in accordance with the EC Pressure Vessels Regulation numbered 2009/105/EC. Air tanks with capacities from 1000 lt to 10,000 liters are manufactured in accordance with the EC Pressurized Equipments Regulation numbered 97/23. Material selection, design, production, quality control and tests of all of our compressed air tanks are carried out in according to DIN EN 13445-1-5 Standards. Welded areas of all of our air tanks and separator tanks are first controlled precisely and then subjected to destructive and non-destructive tests. Our air tanks and separators are inspected by approved authorities and are marked with CE 0036 symbol and certified with the CE certificate.

Lupamat 40 bar air tanks are inspected by approved authorities based on Pressurized Equipments Regulation 97/23 and its B+F Modules; and are marked with the CE 1785 symbol with CE certification.
