Technical features

Gearcouplingsarepositivelockingandtorsionalstiffcouplingsforthetorquetransmission.Thehubsarelinkedbyfittingkeys,too-thedshaftsorinterferencefitassemblieswiththeworkmachines.Thetoothingofhubsisachievedbycrownedtoothing.Thethick-nessof theteethdecreaseswith increasingtoothwidth.Thankstothecrownedtoothing, theswivelrangeis implementedwithasmalltoothflankclearance.Thecombinationofsmalltoothflankclearanceandcenteringinthetoothingallowsasmoothrunningovertheentirespeedandtorquerange.

Thecouplingsinadoublecardanicdesign(twohingeplanes)areabletocompensateradial,angularandaxialshaftdisplacements.The grease lubrication ensures a lowmaintenance effort and alongdurability.O-ringsordoublelipsealsareinsertedtosealthecouplingspacefilledwithgrease.

Thegearcouplingsareavailableindifferentlinesandmodels.

KupplungswerkDresdenhasmanyyearsofexperienceinthesec-torofdevelopmentandmanufacturingofspecialgearcouplingsformanydifferentapplications.Examples forspecialgearcoup-lingsareshownonpages12to15.

Wereservetherighttomakealterationsinlinewithtechnicaldevelopment.Theconstructivedesignmaydifferfromthegraphicimages,however,theindicateddimensionsshallbekept.
