Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics is situated at Gurgaon, Popularly known as Cyber City. As far as the Technical Education and Industry Scenario of Gurgaon is concerned, the city as a flood of Industries to absorb student from professional institute and is a host of several multinational companies, maintenance and Repair overhaul organizations, approved maintenance organizations, Government Airlines, Private Airlines, Helicopter charter service companies defiance and research groups etc. For imparting better technical and best practical training, Institute has its own aircraft AVRO HS-748 in the campus.

Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics offers academics and research linkages with the top institutions all over the country, Besides educational tie-ups, Institute is strengthening its relationship with the top most organizations.

A separate cell is there, known as training and placement office (TPO); which plays a crucial role in developing linkages with industries thus lead to final placements

We are offering those 99% remaining.

Due to the open sky policy and globalization, there is a tremendous boom in Aviation Industry in the world.

New operations/airlines are starting their operations and exiting airlines are inducting new aircraft to their fleet. Big players of the world aviation like boeing, Lufthansa are setting up their MRO facilities in India, India has already planned to have airfields all over the country. Government wants every common man to travel by air. To fulfil these dreams trained and approved manpower is required in large number. This has created a huge demand for aircraft Maintenance Engineers.

We are proud to say that Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India for AME Course.

Aircraft maintenance Engineering is a very challenging and demanding field.

All efforts have been made to provide an excellent infrastructure that a prestigious course like Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Training Course deserves. The rooms are spacious, well aerated and set with suitable furniture.

The computer lab at the Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics is out of the day. We have provided most modern computers including lap-top with internet facility in LAN easy but monitored access to information available across the globe.

A well stocked library is the soul of the institute. There are scores of books, journals, magazines and periodicals which provide ample intellectual food to knowledge for hungry students and faculty. A number of sets of the text books have been placed in the library so that as many as six or even seven students can be issued a particular book at a time, if the demand for the book is that much pressing. Beside text books other books of general interest too have been procured to quench the intellectual thirst of an inquisitive, curious and voracious reader. Update magazines such as Aviation week, Aircraft maintenance technology, Airport etc. are available in Library.

The Institute has its own overhead and LCD projectors a lot of transparencies on various subjects have been made which will be used for training purposes during theory classes. The Institute also has a Audio-Visual, Flight Simulator for aircraft maintenance, manufacturing etc.

Hostel Facility

Timing of the Institute

Attendance

1. Available on a first come first served basis, subject to availability of seats.

2. Separate hostel facility for boys and girls. Both hostel comprise spacious and well furnished rooms.

3. Regular and monitored study of the students, for which three hours are fixed as study hours.

4. One hour is fixed when students can get their academic problem solved under the guidance of an instructor.

5. Frequent medical checkup of the students.

6. Transport facility is provided by the Institute for Commuting students from the boarding house to the Institute.

7. Outdoor and Indore sport Facility.

8. If any student opts for hostel facility, he has to complete his stay for one year. In case he wants to withdraw his candidature from hostel after that, he has to give notice before three months.

The Timing of the institute will be 09.00 AM to 05.00 PM.

It is mandatory for students to have a minimum of 80% attendance in every semester to be eligible to sit for examination and promotion to next semester.

Rules of the Institute

Faculty Members

1. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained within this brochure.

2. Fee once paid are not refund able under any circumstances.

3. Students will also be liable for any travel and accommodation costs incurred whilst on placement and other related activities.

4. The institute may withdraw or amend its offer or terminate a student's registration at the institute if it finds that a false or materially misleading statement has been made in.

5. Disputes of any kind are subject to the Jurisdiction of Gurgaon Court only.

1. Students at the Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics are expected to maintain required norms of discipline and conduct during the tenure of the course.

2. Indiscipline, violation of code of conduct, grave insubordination etc. will raise grounds for the student's expulsion from the Institute.

3. Though utmost care and attention is give, the Institute does not accept the responsibility for any mishap, accident, lost of property or illness of a student. It will not be liable to compensate any claim for the above.

4. No student will be permitted to leave the campus without prior permission of the Director/C.I.

5. In all matter relating to the Institute the decision of the Director will be final and binding on all students.

On Job Training

The Last i.e. sixth semester of the AME Training Course is meant for On Job Training (OJT). The Institute has its own fully serviceable pressurized heavy aircraft AVRO HS-748 to give students On Job Training. Besides, They are also sent to some airlines for this practical training. The Institute is in collaboration with these airlines for providing them O.J.T.

At present our students are getting their O.J.T. in Air India, Indamer, Global Vectra, Pawan Hans, Shaurya Aeronautic etc.
