Title: 23rd October 2018 - Orientation Program for MBA, M.Com and M.Com (FA) courses

Description:

The Chief Guest was Mr. B Deepak Kumar. It was a great session for the students, as the students got an

insight of how a higher education could help them keep a positive outlook when it comes to job opportunities.

It was a very Motivational Speech from the Chief Guest.

Title: 13th October 2018 - Workshop on Resume Building & Soft Skill Training

Description: The Resource Person was Mr. Prabhakar. It was a great session for the students, as the students

got an insight of how an actual interview would be in a corporate setup. And how they can face it without

having any fear in the back of their heads. There were brief activities about how to prepare a Curriculam

Vitae, Resume and some Do's and Dont's while attending an interview. A demonstration Group Discussion

was conducted for the students, following which there was a mock interview.

The Resource Person was Dr. K. Raghavendra Pai. It was truly a very motivational session for all the

hardworking faculties of SFGC, SIMS and PG Dept. of Commerce and Management. This session was an

eye-opener about Stress Handling and various techniques to reduce stress through Yoga and various

meditational breathing exercises.

Title: 25th August 2018 - Special Lecture on One Religion, One God

Description:

The speaker was Dr. Bharat Jhunjhunwala. The complete session was highly spiritual and scientific. The

speaker was very charismatic and was able to provide immense evidence and proof regarding various

historical and mythological events linked between Christianity, Islam and Judaism with Hinduism and other

Indic Religions.

Description:

The Resource Persons were Prof. Linda Ann John and Prof. Thamarai Selvi. It was a wonderful and

interactive session between the resource persons and the students. The students completely enjoiyed the entire

activity involving developing a story for success.

for M.Com (FA) 2nd Semester Students

Description: The topic on which the students

gave an impromptu presentation was about

"Risk, Currency, Asset, Liability, Expenditure,

Revenue, Capital, Balance Sheet and P&L

A/C". These topics were a part of 'Asset

Liability Management in Banks'. The subject is

handled by Prof. S Venkatesh. Each individual

student came up and delivered very good

content filled with ideas on how better major

banks can continue their operations keeping

simple changes in mind with respect to the

above mentioned topics.

"Scenario Analysis". This topic is a part of

'Asset Liability Management in Banks'. The

subject is handled by Prof. S Venkatesh. Each

individual student came up with unique ideas

on how to maintain the various interest rates,

the period of waiting until maturity and also

about inflation affecting the maintenance of

deposits and creation of assets of a bank. 4

students participated in the activity and the

entire class was involved in a healthy

discussion and debate about various scenarios.

organized by Post Graduate Department of

resource person for workshop was Dr. G. T.

Govindappa Former Professor & Dean,

Davangere University. The venue of the

with unique ideas on how to maintain quality

for various products. It was a good event and

the entire class participated in this classroom

classroom presentation where they discussed

their ideas with other students and the faculty.

Title: 8th March 2019 - Classroom Activity for

M.Com 4th Semester Students

Description:

The topic on which the students gave an

Quality Management". This topic is a part of

'Commodity Markets'. The subject is handled

by Prof. S Venkatesh. Each individual student

came up with unique ideas on how to maintain

quality for various products. It was a good

event and the entire class participated in this

Title: 16th February 2019 - FDP on "Planning and Writing Successful Research Proposal"

Description: The Resource Person was Dr. B. T. Sampath Kumar. It was a very interesting workshop about

how to plan and write a synopsis, and successfully prepare a Research Paper Proposal. The workshop was

astoundingly beneficial to many faculties who are presenetly pursuing their PhD and various Research

Scholars alike.

Description: The Resource Person was Mr. Ananda Lakkanna It was a great session for the students, there

was a lot of knowledge shared by the resource person regarding various career opportunities through SAP. He

was very articulate in his manner of explaining each and every question regarding Systems Applications and

Products (SAP). All of the students were immensely benefitted through this workshop which was conducted

for the knowledge base building of the students.

Title: 29th November 2018 - Student Development Program on "Run, Jump and Fly"

Description: The Resource Person was Dr. S Chandrasekhar. It was a great session for the students, as the

students got an insight of how to be motivated about one's inner talents and how to showcase those talents to

achieve their goals. The entire workshop involved various aspects such as Team Building, Better

Coordination, Work Delegation and Group Communication. All of which are essential for the student to

pursue a career. This deep insight towards the drive to achieve was truly an awesome session for all the

students of IInd Semester M.Com and M.Com (FA).

Title: 24th November 2018 - Workshop on Preparation for NET/K-SET/IAS and various Competitive Exams

Description: The Resource Person was Mr. Ramakrishna Subrahmanya. It was a great session for the

students, as the students got an insight of how various competitive exams can be cracked. He guided all the

students and also provided how through meticulous preparation one can crack such difficult competitive

exams. He gave various tips and suggestions towards preparation. "I got a lot of idea with respect to

Competitive Exams by attending this session, I now have more confidence to face any upcoming Competitive

Description : SIMS MBA department has a legacy of hosting successful Intercollegiate Management fests in

the name "SAMYOGA" which means Convergence. This year MBA department hosted Samyoga 2K18…

Manorama Abhisarna, on 3 May 2018, under the guidance of Our Director Dr. Vatsala G and coordinator Dr.

Kavitha Karkera. The fest was graced by many Dignitaries for the Inaugural function as well as for

Valedictory. More than 35 colleges participated, with 354 participants from other management colleges across

Bangalore for various events.

The chief guests for the Inauguration were Mr. Ramesh Srinivasan CEO & Executive Coach, i.e. Consults and

Ms. Annapurna, Director – Human Resources, Inspirage Software Co Pvt Ltd. Ms. Annapurna rendered the

Inaugural address and the guest of honor was Dr. Wooday P. Krishna Hon. Gen. Secretary, Seshadripuram

Educational Trust. Our Director Dr. Vatsala G, welcomed the guests and honored them with mementos.

Two film stars graced the Valedictory function, the first invited celebrity was Mr. Vijaya Raghavendra who is

well known sandalwood star and the second star invited was Praveen Gowda who is new face to the industry.

Description : At SIMS, we believe that Certification and Value Added Courses are need of the hour to make

MBA students corporate ready. At SIMS, every semester at least two training and certification courses are

being conducted. This semester, in the first week of May till the last week of June, 2018 we have conducted

Aptitude Training courses for the second semester students. GLISTEN Company was the service partners to

impart the training program. The training program was started with pre training assessments and concluded

with a post training assessment for all the participating students.

MBA on 14th December 2018. There was two round were the filtration took place after the first round. The

first round consisted of multiple choice question. Out of 115 students, 15 were selected for finals and these 15

students were divide into 5 teams consisting 3 students in each team. The students had been through latest

business news, the finalists were put through a competitive set of rounds that tested their knowledge on logos,

taglines, marketing campaigns and important personnel of corporate giants.

The inauguration programme of Vision Tribe was held as a small official ceremony in the campus where the

Chief Guest for the day Prof. Narasimha Murthy, a management consultant by profession addressed the

students on the necessary skills that a manager needs to possess to thrive in modern day business scenario. The

programme was also graced with the presence of Venerable Bhikkhu Ananda, General Secretary of the

Mahabodhi Society, Bengaluru who blessed the students to have a great learning experience through the

forum.

held in the campus seminar hall. The Chief Guest hailing from the corporate ecosystem of the country and the

Guest of Honor from the academic circle gave an insight to the students on the importance dreams and the

Raghavendra Pai Description : Stress and Work pressure have become an omnipresent evil in modern day

work space as they affect personnel of every field alike. In this direction, Seshadripuram Institute of

Management Studies organized a Faculty Development Program titled “Yogic Workshop on Stress

Management and Well Being for Teachers” which was piloted by renowned Yoga Guru Dr. Raghavendra

Pai. Faculty members from various institutions across the city enrolled and participated in the workshop

which was very well structured and carried forward by the resource person.

Dr. Pai enlightened the attendees on the different manifestations of stress like Back Pain, Diabetes, Gastritis,

Thyroid problems, etc and provided a yogic solution to all of them. He managed to weave all yogic kriyas in a

very beautiful narrative that reached all the participants in a very effective manner. Yoga being an ancient

form of human well being is very relevant for modern day stress management and is an instrument aiding

people to attain happiness in everyday life. The methods however need to be learnt from a very prudent

teacher and the attendees of the workshop found Dr. Pai to be one. Activities like Surya Namaskara,

Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Yogic meditation, etc were all taught to the faculty members by the Guru along with

a substantiation of their benefits.

The workshop concluded with all the attendees receiving a certificate from the Ministry of Health and

feedback for the workshop was taken from the faculty members all of whom were elated to have been a part

of a wonderful and refreshing learning experience.

Description : Specialization – a very common term used especially in Post-Graduate Studies to denote a

specific stream that a student pursues in order to gain greater aptitude in the corresponding subjects. Students

pursuing their Masters in Business Administration (MBA) are provided with a wide variety of specialization

options like Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, etc. that they need to choose from in their

second year of the course. There is however, a persistent absence of clarity on the opportunities that lie behind

every single specialization on offer before a student makes the decision to pursue one or more of such

streams. In order to change this situation, Seshadripuram Institute of Management Studies had organized a

workshop titled “Vocation Mapping” for the students entering their III Semester MBA at the institution in

order to acquaint the students with the scope and future prospects that rest beneath the specialization options.

This workshop was piloted by Dr. K. Ramachandra, Director and Professor at School of Commerce and

Management, Maharanis Cluster University. Being a seasoned academician and research expert, Dr.

Ramachandra kept the session very light and took the students on a very neatly guided tour of all the

specializations that they can opt for in the upcoming final year of their Post-Graduation. Starting from a brief

meditation session aimed at equipping students with a more relaxed mind to think and decide, the session

went ahead on a very concise and complete track. At the end of the day, students were much more aware of

all the subjects on offer in various specialization streams and made an informed decision on their respective

specializations, which was registered with the academic coordinator of the department.

Description : Internship is a very crucial activity that a student undertakes along with academics which

becomes the bridge between the theoretical backdrop of the student’s area of interest and the reality of the

field. In this direction, Seshadripuram Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) organized a small orientation

program on the nuances of internships for the students entering their III Semester MBA in the academic year

2018-19.

The orientation was piloted by Mr. Bhimraj, Head of Glisten Project Solutions Pvt. Ltd who is also the chief

in charge of placements and career development activities for the students of the institution. The orientation

was a very precise program where Mr. Bhimraj walked the students through the do’s and don’ts in an

internship whilst setting up the expectation base in the minds of the students from their internships. The

session was a very interactive one whereby, students put forth all their apprehensions and uncertainties

regarding the very concept of an internship and the resource team dealt with all of them categorically thereby

providing the students with a much-needed clarity on the domain.

The session ended with students enrolling for internship placements, which the placement team would be

taking forward briskly to place the students in the internships of their respective areas of interest.

Studies Description : As per the requirement of Bangalore University, students of IV semester MBA have

commenced their dissertation work on 23rd April 2018. Submission of synopsis to Bangalore university was

done as per the requirement on 7th May 2018. Before the submission of the synopsis to the University to

ensure quality work, a mock viva was conducted on 5th April 2018. Students have submitted the first and

second progress reports as per the requirement of the university in the month of May 2018.

Seshadripuram Institute of Management Studies always believes in Quality and excellence in the work and

task undertaken by it. In building the culture of thriving for excellence among the students, every activity in

the Institution are monitored and guided by the faculty coordinators and in charge. We have allotted 10

students for each guides and special provision in the time table for project guidance was made, so as to bring

continuity in the guidance.

The Department conducted mock viva-voce on 26th and 27th June 2018. The department invited industry

experts and experts from other departments to conduct mock Viva along with the faculties of the institution.

The Institution has a total student strength of 118 for IV semester MBA, which was divided into two batches

based on their register numbers. Then the Viva was conducted for these two batches on 26th and 27th June

2018. A positive feedback was received from the outsider as well as the external experts about the students,

who came for conducting Mock Viva-voce as panel of experts. There are plans to make students to do social-

concern projects along with faculty member and publish them in recognized journals in the near future.

conducted competitive examination workshop on 21st June 2018. The workshop was handled by Mr.

Bheemraj, Proprietor, Glisten Project Solutions Pvt. Ltd who is pioneer in “Training for Competitive exam”.

Around 13+ college students attended the workshop. And a total strength of 165 students took part in the

workshop. The first session started with the basic introuduction of importance of MBA course the advantages

of taking competitive exams and the facilities provided by the college. The second session commenced with

technical round which consisted of aptitude, analytical thinking and problem solving techniques. The students

were given question papers which had various questions to solve from previous year question paper during

the session.

The feedback of the students were highly positive with few students coming up on the stage and giving their

feed back. The overall the session ended with positive note, and was really fruitful for the students.

Seshadripuram Institute of Management Studies is very proactive in conducting various workshops and

seminars to enrich the student’s knowledge base apart from academics, especially M.B.A department under

the guidance of Dr. Vatsala.G who never miss an opportunity to bring in value adding workshops and other

initiatives to facilitate students for their constructive developments. One of such workshop was held on 21st

May 2018 at Yelahanka campus. The main co-coordinator for the workshop was Prof. Amruta from MBA

department, it was a one day workshop held in the PU Seminar Hall. The resource person called was Dr.

Lancy D’ Souza Head and Associate Professor, Department of psychology, Maharaja College Mysore. Dr. D’

Souza was very cheerful and energetic to engage a huge bunch of students in the workshop. He first started

off by giving detailed information for students on how to frame title, what should they do before framing a

title and what innovativeness they can bring into their titles. He also said the questionnaire should be prepared

in simple language by avoiding jargons. He then moved on to the subject matter of the workshop that is data

analysis and interpretation. He first started from the scratch by making students understand various types of

statistical concepts, types of tests, different types of variables which made students get a broader view on

them. He also gave greater insights regarding correlations and regressions which are used in research work.

Mangalore University And Prof. Rupesh Kumar, Tumkur University Description : Seshadripuram Institute

of Management Studies (SIMS) organized a one-day workshop titled “E-Resources for Excellence in

Academics and Research” on 22nd December 2018. Electronic resources, which are available in abundance

today in the internet, play a key role in modern day research initiatives. However, their usage needs to be

driven in the right direction in order to ensure that the information sourced from e-resources are genuine and

instrumental for the research. This was the objective behind the workshop whereby the resource persons

invited including Dr. I.R.N Goudar from Mangalore University and Prof. Rupesh Kumar from Tumkur

University discussed the nuances of using e-resources for research and library management purposes. Not

only did they address the issues faced by academicians in research initiatives with respect to citations,

plagiarism, literature review, etc. they also provided fresh insights towards making the Library a place of

relevance in any institution by utilizing e-resources effectively. The workshop received an overwhelming

response from the academic circles across the region who provided a positive feedback on the modules

delivered in the workshop and placed a request with the organizing team to have more such workshops in the

upcoming calendars of the department. This event thus added another feather to the cap of successful

initiatives of the institution.

17th, 18th and 19th in the month of December 2018. There were 15 teams at the beginning and 5 teams were

INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL

Workshop on Revised Accreditation Framework – 6th Oct. 2018.

Dr. S. Rama, Adviser, NAAC, inaugurated the workshop. The inaugural session was presided over by

Dr. Wooday P. Krishna, Hon. Gen. Secretary, SET. In his presidential address Dr. Krishna dwelt at

length on the tradition of quality awareness in the higher education system in our country. There

was a time, he said, when, ISI certification was a guarantee of the quality of a good. However, other

agencies came on the scene in higher education. The NAAC is at the forefront of assessment of

quality in higher education, The education. The quest for quality, he said is a journey.

Dr. Rama presented an overview of the Revised Accreditation Framework (RAF). The hallmark of the

RAF is the shift of emphasis from peer judgement to data validation by an external agency, from

subjective evaluation to objective verification. RAF envisages extensive use of ICT, bechmarks have

been raised; prequalifier is essential minimum 30%; the participation of students and alumni has

greater role; student feedback and training are very crucial the RAF has delineated a clear roadmap

for assessment and accreditation:

- Letter of Intent , Institutional Information for Quality Assessment, Self-Study Report, Data Validation

and Verification, Prequalification, Peer team Visit, Assessment outcome

Dr. Vinita Sahu, Asst. Adviser, dealt in detail with DVV: data templates and time lines; Dr. Ganesh

Hegde, Deputy Adviser, explained why the NAAC manual needed change; the areas to be focused;

the essential metrics; role of alumni and students in the assessment of HEI. He called for an effort to

face the challenges posed by the changing higher education scenario; look at the institution in a new

light; to be attentive to opportunities for improvement.

The workshop was attended by Principals, Coordinators of IQAC and senior faculty from about 200

Report of Intercollegiate Drones’ technology Workshop held on 02nd August 2018 from 10am to 5pm.

An intercollegiate Drones’ Technology workshop was organised by the Department of Electronics on 2nd August 2018

from 10 am to 5pm for the students of B.E, B.Sc EMC and BCA.

Totally 120 students participated in the seminar based workshop. Students from Engg, Science and Computer

Applications background from our college and 8 colleges from outside had participated.

The resource persons were Mr. Shankar Dixit, Cofounder, Mr. Vipul Bhati and Mr. Arun from Blackbox Technologies.

Mr. Shankar is international award winner ain project exhibition held at America. He and his team has conducted many

such workshops for Engineering students, involved in major Govt. Projects and are very few amongst the technical

people involved in Research and Development of Drone Technology.

The session was divided into three parts:

1. Drone Technology Seminar

2. Simulator Demonstration

3. Different Drones’ Airshow

The resource persons were highly knowledgeable, seminar was highly interactive and students were extremely

benefited by the workshop. Some staff members from outside colleges also attended the workshop, both staff and

Students thanked the department for the wonderful event organised.

From the bottom of my heart I thank our beloved Principal for guiding, supporting and encouraging us to conduct such

high quality technical events.

A seminar on “Machine Learning and Data Analytics” was held for the students of V Sem BSc EMC and BCA on

27th July 2018 between 1-3:30pm.

Report of Workshop on Yoga -- Conducted by Life Skills Forum

Nowadays due to stressful life and pollution more and more health issues

are arising. So to guide the participants for healthy and peaceful life a one

day Yoga Workshop was conducted on 27th February 2018 by Mrs.

Shyamala, Entrepreneur and Yoga Trainer. Participants showed their

interest with huge response and made the program successful. Around

50 students and 15 faculty members participated in the workshop.

SILVER JUBILEE LECTURE AND INTERACTIVE SESSION

“The present and future generations of entrepreneurs have unprecedented advantages: technology, confidence

and global connectedness. Can they match these boons with street smartness, knowledge, negotiation power and

communication skills? Entrepreneurial success hinges on the answer to this question, said Dr. Gururaj “DESH”

Deshpande.

As part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the SET institutions, including SFGC, two eminent SET alumni, Dr. Gururaj

DESH Deshpande and Sri B V Jagadeesh, were invited for a lecture and interactive session with trustees, life members,

heads of SET institutions, faculty, staff and students, on 19 January 2018.The event was held in the auditorium of

SFGC. Sri N R Panditharadhya, President SET, presided over the function. Dr. Wooday P. Krishna, Hon, General

Secretary, SET, introduced and welcomed the guest speakers.

Dr. Gururaj Desh Deshpande is the President and Chairman of Sparta Group LLC, a family investment office and is

also the Chairman of Tejas Networks. Dr Deshpande has pursued an entrepreneurial career for the last three decades.

He is involved either as the founder, a founding investor or Chairman of several companies, including Cascade

Communications, Sycamore Networks, Coral Networks, Tejas Networks, Cimaron, Webdialogs, Airvana, Sandstone

Capital, A123 Systems and Curata. Dr Deshpande lives in Boston and serves as a life member of the MIT Corporation,

and his support has made possible MIT’s Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation. Leveraging the experience

gained at the MIT Center, the Deshpande

Foundation has facilitated the set up of three other centers; Deshpande Center for Social Entrepreneurship in India,

Merrimack Valley Sandbox in Lowell/Lawrence, Massachusetts and Pond, Deshpande Center at the University of New

Brunswick in Canada.

Mr. B. V. Jagadeesh is the Managing Partner at KAAJ Ventures, serves as an industry advisor at Inventus Capital

Prtners, as co-founder of TeleVital Inc., serves as its advisor. He serves as a Venture Advisor at Nutanix Inc. He is an

active Advisor and Investor in several networking and internet companies and successfully invested and guided

companies such as NetMagic Solutions, Oceania Networks and Ankeena. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer

and President of Virtela Technology Services Incorporated since January 2011. He cofounded EXDS ., served as the

Chief Executive Officer, President , Group Vice President and General Manager of Citrix Application Networking LLC.

He serves as a Group Vice President and General Manager of Application Networking Group at Citrix Systems, Inc.

and Citrix R&D India Pvt. Ltd., Chief Executive Officer and President of 3Leaf Systems since 2007.

Going back memory lane, Dr. Gururaj traced his roots to a village in Hubli and his schooling in institutions across

Karnataka culminating in Seshadripuram High School, Bangalore in 1967, graduation from National College,

Bangalore and Master’s and Research Degrees from Canada. Mr. Jagadeesh recounted his frugal village background

in Bagalur and his schooling at Seshadripuram High School, Bangalore.

The speakers followed up their foray into autobiography with interaction with the audience. Their prescription for a

successful entrepreneurial career is summarized here:

~ a prospective entrepreneur needs to have an open mind, meet lots of people, be a problem solver looking for

sustainable solutions, be active and street smart.. Indians are respected in the West for these traits, as well as their

commitment to social , humanitarian causes, like Akshaya patra, which provided mid day meal to 16 lakh children

every day.

~ Today’s youth are the pillars of tomorrow, so they need to learn from their elders, learn what and how to think,

learn to deal with people.

~ None should underestimate oneself because of social, financial, educational background. In this large world there

are opportunities for everyone, and a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

~ Marks/grades in exams have their value, but more important are the ability to respond to problems, nurturing the

entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to fall in love with a problem, the urge to go up the pyramid. India has many

solutions to offer: yoga, medication etc which reduce distractions, optimize the use of time and training the mind to

focus like a laser shock.

~ For an entrepreneur building companies and engaging in altruism are parallel concerns, s/he would pull out all

stops to bring succour to the needy because entrepreneurship is all about making the world a better place for people

of all strata of society, not just for the rich. When the rich contribute to social causes, the common man will chip in

with his mite: Rs. 200 crore came from people for the Akshaya Patra initiative.

~ An entrepreneur falls in love with an idea, s/he is enamored of a problem, imbued with dedication, commitment,

sacrifice and the urge to make a difference; put heart and soul into it with clarity of mind, joy and optimism.

The speakers affirmed that the present and future generations have unprecedented advantages: technology,

confidence and global connectedness. Can we match these benefits with street smartness, knowledge, negotiation

power and communication skills? Entrepreneurial success hinges on the answer to this question, they concluded.

Silver Jubilee Lecture by Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade

Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala and alumnus of Seshadripuram High School,

called upon students of SFGC to make full use of the opportunities provided by the college and its Management. Dr.

Heggada was delivering the SFGC Silver Jubilee Lecture on 6th April 2018 at 10 am.

Welcoming Dr. Heggade and the large gathering of students, staff and parents, Dr. Wooday P. Krishna, Hon. General

Secretary of SET, described Dr. Heggade as one of the flowers that bloomed in the SET campus, one of the eminent

past students of SET. Dr. Krishna recounted some of the major achievements of Dr. Heggade. He renovated 230

temples, organized Dharma Jagruthi in 1977, published moral education looks for school students, and provides skills

training to youth, inaugurated Kannada Sahithya Sammelana in Baltimore, USA in 2005. Dr. Heggade is an

embodiment of Bharathiya Vidya and Indian values and traditions. We are very fortunate to have this illustrious

alumnus to address the SFGC students on the occasion of this institution’s silver Jubilee which is coinciding with the

golden Jubilee of the coronation of Dr. Heggade as the / Dharmadhikari of Sri. Kshethra Dharmasthala.

Dr. Heggade fondly recalled his school days at Seshadripuram High School, gratefully acknowledged the school’s role

in his formation, in building his character. SET, he said, values tradition in all its manifold manifestations; puts high

premium on the character and personality development of students and has nurtured generations of men and

women.

Dr. Heggade called upon students to be hungry for knowledge which would render life meaningful, purposeful and

fulfill “purushartha”, to imbibe selflessness which would add beauty to life. The prevalent “Coco-cola” culture will

take us nowhere. On the other hand, only a clear vision will guarantee a bright future. He exhorted students to get

rid of inferiority, nurture courage Opportunities are now enormous: with discipline and time management, our

present day youth can achieve success as never before. The silver Jubilee Lecture programme was presided over Sri.

Annual Camp was organized from 08/04/2018 TO 14/04/2018 in Keashavara Village

Chikkaballapur. Students enthusiastically cleaned the school, temple and roads. They created

awareness among the village about the uses of the plant Tulasi, they also collected data about the

lack of facilities to the village. Made a report and have submitted to the college.

State Level Pre–Republic Day Parade Camp 2016-17

State republic day parade camp, a prestigious state event, is held every year to select the volunteer for RD Parade held at State level or National level .this year about 240 selected volunteers belonging to different universities within karnataka state

participated in the camp held at NSS Bhavan Bangalore University. The camp from 22/09/2016 to 25/09/2016 organized by Service Department, goverenment of karnataka in association with NSS unit, bangalore university . At the inaugural function the present of pro. Dr. THIMMEGOWDA ,VICE CHANCELLOR of Bangalore university, DR.R. SRINIVAS, NSS programme co-ordinator, Bangalore university. the state RD parade camp have a special

appeal as they own unique opportunity to the students to integrate themselves with other students and share their culture language , unity, experienced literally every thing including

marchpast training.

Brain stroming session : Represented BANGALORE UNIVERSITY in BRAIN

ANNUAL SPECIAL CAMP-1

Annual village camp organized in SS Ghati village, Doddaballapur taluk, Bangalore Rural district. From 20/02/2017 to 26/02/2017. Every evening around 2 hours, cultural programs

like drama, quiz, dance, patriotic songs, etc. I actively participated in all cultural activities. The camp was inaugurated by Honorable MLA of Devanahalli Sri Pilla Munishamappa.

This was the first camp I had attended. I had taken the incharge of organizing the whole camp. It was a

very good experience and mind blowing. We had fixed time table for everything.

We always started the day with prayer followed by flag hosting.

The first day we put fencing for the school in that village.

The surrounding of the temple in that villages and made it clean.

In the afternoon we used to have group interaction.

In the evening we are arranged cultural competitions.

Organized a free health check up camp association with manasa hospital at

chinthadapi village,shidlaghatta taluk on 3/9/2016.more than 200 peoples are

benefited with the free treatment and also we issued free tablets. May taken then

inchage of planning and organizing the I got good experience.
