Aquaman is one of the seven founding members of the original Justice League of America. When the Justice League team debuted in 1960, The Funhouse Aliens wanted to conquer Earth for their own use but many superheroes, such as Aquaman fought hard save the Earth from those aliens.

While many heroes like batman, Superman, and Spider-Man feel morally obligated not to kill, Aquaman has doled out his own brand of lethal justice on more than one occasion with his fists, his trident, and murderous sharks.

Known for his superb work in films such as lucknow Central, Katti Batti and shor in the City, lensman Tushar Kanti Ray takes us behind the scenes of Kedarnath, his most visually stunning project yet.

Kedarnath is based on a mega-disaster that struck Uttarakhand in the year 2013 and claimed thousands of lives. How hard was it to shoot the apocalyptic events in the film?while every film we shoot has its own set of challenges, Kedarnath was mounted on a much greater scale. We braved long treks up freezing tracks and back. And on the mountains, it’s nature that calls the shots—you cannot control the light conditions. So, we had to time each scene to be able to catch the perfect angle of the sun. Then there were times we had to stand submerged in the water for hours, to recreate the overwhelming floods.

Where did you shoot?A good chunk of the film was shot in kedarnath, during

the yatra. we also filmed at a village some 70 kilometres away. the flood sequences were part vfX and part real shoot, but we’ve worked hard to blend them seamlessly. key portions of the film were also shot on specially erected sets in Mumbai.

Most beautiful locationin the region where we shot, natural beauty is sprinkled as far as the eye can see. but to me, the really beautiful thing is the spirituality and pristine feel of the land. The place hums with positive, healing energy.

Martin Scorsese’s “The Aviator” is a portrait of Howard Hughes, the rich, handsome and increasingly deranged man who made his greatest achievements in both aviation and film. irresistible to scriptwriters and directors alike, his life was earlier portrayed in such films as the carpetbaggers(1964), the Amazing Howard Hughes (1977) and Melvin and Howard (1980).

The Plot: The Aviator follows a 20-year period of Howard Hughes’ life, toward steady and sad decline. He arrives in Los Angeles as a good-looking young man with a lot of money, who defies a scornful industry to make hit movies and eventually buys his own airline. by the end, darkness gathers around Hughes. He gets stuck on words and keeps repeating them. He grows phobic about germs. Those around him try to protect him, but he is too far gone. He was the world’s richest man, and with his billions bought himself a room he never left.

AWARD-WINNING LINEUP: the film’s cast included four Oscar winners: Leonardo Di Caprio, Cate blanchett, Anne V. Coates, and Martin Scorsese (who

seT seCReTs: Four of the miniature airplanes used in creating the effects for the film are now on display at the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, Oregon, home of the real Howard Hughes HK-1 “Spruce Goose”. Models on display include two of the biplanes from the Hell’s Angels (1930) sequence, most of the XF-11 model, and the motion-control “Spruce Goose”. The “Spruce Goose” model is remarkably detailed, and even includes scale puppets of Howard Hughes and dr. fritz.
