Biographie English and French

The group 10,000 Problemes was started in 1995 by the initiative of Pape SENE aka Sidy Diop. He has been a part of the Saint Louisian rap scene for a considerable amount of time and given hundreds of concerts.


10,000 Problemes debut album, Time to Change will be released in late 2013

In 2012, I founded Rapandar Productions in CA, USA. We are partnering with 10,000 Problemes to invite Africans musicians to the US to participate in an international festival called the “Festival of African Roots” scheduled for July 2015. Our concept is to emphasize the richness of African culture through Africans themselves. The goal is to bring down biases and give youth a sense of responsibility while ensuring a more tolerant and open society for future generations.��- 10+ years experience in international music event production, promotion and fundraising.�- Experienced leader of non-profit organizations pursuing social change for the betterment of the disenfranchised youth of West Africa.�- Experienced mobilizer and manager of large groups of volunteers�- Experienced performing artist at cultural events in Africa and Europe�- Unique capacity to identify and implement cultural exchange opportunities between countries�- Exceptional ability for recognizing burgeoning musical talent among youth musicians

French Le groupe « 10000 Problèmes » est né en 1995 à l’initiative de Sidy Diop aka Pape Sene. Le groupe compte trois personnes et fait depuis longtemps parti des activistes de la scène rap Saint Louisienne. En plus du groupe, l’Association « 10000 problèmes » compte en son sein 16 membres qui s’occupent des différentes tâches de promotion du groupe.


Carrière musicale Avec plus d’une centaine de concerts à leur actif, leur présence sur la compilation d’Arts City Hip Hop Paris-Dakar, leur victoire aux Musique Folies 2002 au CCF de Saint Louis, et par deux fois à l’affiche du festival international de Jazz Off de Saint Louis, le groupe «10000 Problèmes », interlocuteur privilégié dans ce paysage musical, a acquis une solide expérience dans l’organisation de concerts: • En 1998, 2000 et 2001, lauréat aux concours de RAP Africa Révolution organisé

par Nescafé. • En 2004, lauréat au concours sur la lutte contre le SIDA organisé par les

médecins de la région de Saint-Louis • Concert avec Dup Matic du Canada au centre culturel français de Saint-Louis • Lauréat aux « 48 heures » de Hip Hop en 1999 sur la le thème de la lutte contre

la violence. • Concert à Urban Republic en 2005 en République Tchèque Concert à Hip Hop Came

en République Tchèque. Nous avons par ailleurs des projets pour la dixième édition du festival, en 2015 : nous souhaitons en effet l’organiser aux Etats-Unis, et inviter les pays partenaires du festival depuis sa création, et notamment les pays africains. Nous renommerons le festival à cette occasion « Festival des racines de l'Afrique ». L'idée est de faire valoir la richesse de l’Afrique dans toute sa diversité ( : Tourisme, culture, économie, aménagements) par les africains eux-mêmes. L'enjeu, au-delà de l'aspect distrayant de ce projet, est de changer le regard de certains, de responsabiliser des jeunes en les initiant de façon originale à la richesse de ce patrimoine dans ses réalités d'aujourd'hui.


Le premier album de 10000 Problemes, Time to Change, était lancé en November 2013. ��- Plus de dix ans de l'experience en la production internationale des événement musicaux, la promotion et la collecte de fonds. �- Leader expérimenté des organisations non gouvernementales menant le changement social qui cible la jeunesse de l'Afrique de l'Ouest. �- Manager expérimenté d'un grand nombre des volontaires. �- Artist du spectacle expérimenté aux événements culturels au Sénégal et à l'étranger. �- Capacité exceptionnelle à identifier et exécuter des échanges culturels internationaux. �- Aptitude exceptionnelle à identifier des jeunes talents musicaux.
