Red Snapper Group Overview

The Red Snapper Group (RSG) is the UK’s leading provider of Recruitment, Master Vendor (MV), Re-cruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Training and Media to the law enforcement and broader criminal justice sector.

We provide services to the following sectors:

• Law Enforcement;• Criminal Justice,• Central Government;• Local Government;• Local Authorities;• Regulatory;• Third Sector;• Cyber Security;• Healthcare;• Legal.

Recently examples of public sector organisation and job professions we have supplied via the RM6160 framework include:

Examples are:

• District Council – We supported the council in finding staff that where responsible for reviewing, maintaining and developing their Coastal Defence Programme, making sure that the local residents and visitors could enjoy coastal areas safely without risk to themselves or properties.

• A voluntary personal and social development programme – We were approached to help with staff in relation to HR functions, PR and communications. The staff where in some case responsible for reviewing policy and suggesting ways to make improvements whilst the organisation goes through a period of structural change.

• UK Regulator - Responsible for food safety and food hygiene in England, Wales and Northern Ire-land. We supplied a multi-disciplined team law enforcement and legal advisers on a large scale Document Review exercise on a food crime investigation.

• Healthcare Provider - Health authority charged with identifying, investigating and preventing fraud and other economic crime. We supplied an Indexer tasked with identifying and examining relevant material; for Clue Case Management inputting. The Clue Case Management system is similar to HOLMES system that is widely used by UK Police forces for handling of exhibits as part of investiga-tion.

• University – We have worked with the I.T teams at the university and have been able to supply them with Staff who have Project Management and Business Analyst skills, they were used to develop and carry out projects in relation to transformation projects that the University was looking to complete in relation to there I.T infrastructure.

The Red Snapper Group Structure

Headquartered in London with an office network across the Midlands and the North. The group head-count is 122 staff. 73 based in our office network with a further 49 employed on contracts ‘of’ service but based as embedded teams with our customers. The group has a three person senior management team, six division managers and three geographical hub managers.

Our media, recruitment and training services divisions each support our more complex engagements such as master vendor and recruitment process outsource contracts.

Red Snapper Recruitment

Red Snapper Recruitment (RSR) supply specialist policing and criminal justice talent on interim contracts to the UK police service, international law enforcement agencies, security organisations and government agencies.

RSR provides master vendor, RPO and transactional recruitment outcomes on preferred supplier basis and maintains a talent database of over 100,000 policing, criminal justice and cybercrime practitioners and achieves over 3,000 recruitment outcomes per year.

The RSR 70+ strong nationwide team conduct 10,000 interviews per year with law enforcement personnel. RSR’s contingent labour service has been designed to meet the specific needs and risk landscape of the criminal justice sector.

RSG supplies business critical agency workers to the criminal justice sector (CJS). Police, prison and probation practitioners. Our workers work on the front line of the CJS and so it is vital their skills and expertise are contemporary and extensive. RSG maintains the continuous professional development (CPD) of its workers to mitigate against the risks associated with practitioners not having up to date skills and knowledge and also produce positive outcomes insofar as staff retention and morale.

In addition, we provide performance management surveillance regime for agency workers. Often, professionals working as agency workers in the CJS are not provided with full line management supervision or clinical supervision. In essence, from time to time, agency workers can fall between supervisory cracks. This can lead to agency staff feeling unsupported and disenfranchised from the organisations they are working in. Should this happen, this can lead to poor levels of productivity, poor job satisfaction and an increased likelihood of seeking other employment.

RSG has been designed to provide a sophisticated response to meeting the needs of the law enforcement sector. Our dominant position in the law enforcement media sector means our talent acquisition processes are both long range in terms of capturing talent far up stream, long before they become available for deployment, and in terms of scale. Our media audience reaches over half of all serving police practitioners.

The RSR Master Vendor Service (RSR MVS)

3

RSR MVS is a master vendor service designed to meet the unique needs of the emergency services sector.

Our approach to delivering our master vendor service is to tailor our service to meet the local needs of each of our emergency service customers. We achieve this by providing a core master vendor service supported with a range of unique ancillary services such as in-house secure environment security vetting and the maintenance of the continuous professional development (CPD) of all deployed agency workers. Furthermore we have a range of supporting modular services which broaden our master vendor customer’s choices.

Our contract management teams have a proven track record of working collaboratively with our customers, our supply chain and all stakeholders. Their mission is to achieve partnership status with both customers and our supply chain, and to immerse themselves into the daily operations of customer’s businesses.

Our approach to supply chain management is to provide a clear cut commercial opportunity for all market participants engaged by the Master Vendor contract. The RSR MVS recruitment teams directly fulfil agency worker hires in designated role types namely blue light, leadership and IT professions.

Red Snapper Recruitment HR – HR consulting and ancillary services

RSR also provide Workforce planning and recruitment advisory services; the RSR MVS employs a mix of emergency service and HR experts. Our team understand the specificities of this market from major workforce reforms such as the Windsor Reforms, through to the relationship between unions, senior management teams, HR and corporate governance. RSR MVS provides workforce planning and recruitment advisory services as a standard part of our service at all spend limits.

Security Clearance and Vetting Services

RSR MVS is the only provider of master vendor services which is able to security clear to Counter Terrorism Checks (CTC) or Security Cleared (SC) levels independent of our end user CA vetting teams. There are some CA vetting teams which for policies reason will not allow other agencies to provide external vetting services. In circumstances such as this RSR MVS has developed a vetting clearance support service which results in our compliance team working as an integrated partner to the CA’s vetting team delivering part of the vetting process on behalf of the CA’s vetting function. The result is we delivery time and cost efficiencies on behalf of our master vendor customers.
