How can you clean the sin and wrong choices out of your heart? You can’t! You’ve got to ask Jesus’ forgiveness and choose to follow Jesus as your leader and number-one friend. 4. Per Group King Says activity supplement

To Do Say: I’ll be a king, and you can be my followers! If I say King Says before I tell you to do something, do it! If I don’t say King Says, freeze! 1. Give commands off the activity supplement. Only

say King Says before some of them. • Kids do commands preceded by King Says. • Kids freeze for commands not preceded by King

Says. 2. If kids do an action or freeze at the wrong time,

kindly say, “Aha! I gotcha!” and keep playing. 3. As time allows, repeat steps 1-2. Kids can be the

king if they’d like.

Review the Bible verse and talk about it.

2. What can we do to show Jesus is our Lord and King? Ideas: love others, worship Him, thank Him for how wonderful He is, make choices that honor Him, pray, take care of what He gives us, etc.

3. Jesus is a good, good King. What do you think Jesus does that is good? Ideas: He loves us, helps us love others, wants the best for us, died and came back to life to forgive us, etc.

Pray together. Say: Praying is talking with God. What would you like to talk with God about? 1. Listen to what kids say and pray together. 2. Not sure what to pray? Pray this: God, please

To Do Say: I’m gonna make a sound, and you get to guess what it is. Put on your listening ears right … NOW! 1. Make a sound listed on the activity supplement. 2. Kids guess the sound. Kids don’t have to take

turns—they can say guesses as they think of them. 3. When kids guess correctly, make a different sound

from the activity supplement. If kids have trouble guessing the right answer, use the tips on the activity supplement.

4. Repeat steps 1-3 for as many sounds as possible. 5. If time allows, kids make sounds for you to guess.
