SummerEnrichment

Summer Enrichment Program OverviewDear North Plainfield Community Members:

The North Plainfield School District is proud to provide all North Plainfield rising kindergarten through 12thgrade students the “no cost” opportunity to participate in a variety of Summer Enrichment experiences, inaddition to the academic support available through the Summer Academic Academy and Summer Schoolprograms.

The Summer Enrichment Program will run, Monday throughThursday, beginning July 5, 2022 and ending on Thursday,August 18, 2022. Each session has a unique schedule andeach workshop is structured to a specific age anddevelopmental level. To every extent possible, SummerEnrichment sessions have been scheduled to run in theafternoon so as not to interfere with Summer School and/orthe Summer Academic Academy taking place in the morning, and to allow all students equal access to participation.

We invite you to explore the Summer Enrichment brochurewith your child(ren) to identify those programs that will helpyour child(ren) discover their strengths, try out new interests, build new friendships while expanding social skills, stayactive and simply have fun!

Registration for all Summer Enrichment sessions are on a“first-come, first-served basis.” Registering for any sessiondoes not guarantee participation. Each program has a maximum capacity and final participation lists will beconfirmed at the end of May. Participation in any program comes with the expectation to maintain consistentattendance. Out of a spirit of fairness and consideration for all students, please only register if your childintends to go each day the session is offered.

We are truly excited to present so many opportunities to enrich your child (ren)’s summer, and hope that thisnewest addition to district offerings also serves to support our working families and cultivate communitypartnership.
