Cutting of the balsam firtips, workers must cut balsam fir tipsand place them on a pole. The polemust be full of usable tips, the approx.weight of a loaded pole is approx. 40pounds. When the pole is completedthe worker carry the pole approx. 1/8 to1/4 mile and load the pole on a contain-er or trailer. Schedule is 35 hours perweek and hours vary, some weekendwork required and some overtime maybe required.
