Focus on E-Rate: Campus Verification
Leonard Chance, Ashley Katzenberger, David Rodriguez,
Geoff Brown and Cassandra Slade (not pictured) converged
on Francone Elementary to verify the work that has been done
by our vendors to improve the infrastructure at our campuses.
It is imperative that the accuracy of the inventory as it pertains
to the E-rate must be 100%. Physical verification and
meticulous reporting are necessary for the district to receive
reimbursement for infrastructure costs.

Replacing Network Printers

Posted by: Doug Baker Service Center Supervisor November 11, 2016
The Technology Service Center
has begun replacing old network
printers in Zone 2 on the south side
of 290. We hope to be finished with
11 of the elementary schools in that
zone before the Christmas break.
That will leave only 5 elementary
campuses left in Zone 2 when 2017
begins.
Art Ramirez (pictured) is almost
completely finished with the
network printer replacements at
Birkes Elementary.

Service Center technician Jose
Vargas was notified that there
were four class rooms at Arnold
Middle School that did not have
mounted class room projectors.
Jose jumped into action to obtain
projectors for these class rooms
and installed all of them in a
timely manner. This is just one
example of how our service
technicians support the District’s
teachers to provide students with
more opportunities to learn.
On November 11th we honored our veterans on Veterans Day.
Others call it Armistice Day or Remembrance Day. No matter what
it is called it is the day we honor our brave men and women that
have protected our country and keep our country free. When we
all reflect on this day, we thank our veterans for all they have done
and all that they do to make our country great.
Thank You Veterans !!!
