NCDesk is a collection of
small Java programs that
replicate common
applications. These are the
five applications – they do
not function as completely
as Microsoft Word, Works
or Excel that we use in
class. They are similar.
Several PowerPoint
slideshows are available
for you to see how the
applications work. Now,
let’s learn more about

Subscript is often used in Science and Math where the number or letter has to drop down (like a SUBmarine drops down under the water) from the other letters, like in H2O.
Superscript is also often used in Science and Math where the number has to fly above (like a SUPERhero flies above buildings) the other numbers or letters, as in “the right angle of a triangle measures 90º”.

Both single and double line spacing buttons are on the toolbar.

You need to know how to set your line spacing. If you are asked to double space, they mean to double space between lines, not words.
Highlight/select the text that needs to be double spaced, then use the Format Paragraph Menu, or the double space button.
Do not use the return key on the keyboard to double space.
