What is the iDataPortal?
Reporting tool, developed internally at SAISD by Marcos Zorola
Web-based application that allows users to get reports on demand 24/7
Data is downloaded daily from Region 20 (Education Service Agency) and stored in a database server at SAISD
Downloaded data is stored in composite database tables for efficient data access
Custom reports are developed to display the data in an easy to understand and user
friendly format
The SAISD Data Warehouse currently supports and maintains the iDataPortal
It has been in use since 2003
Users include Board Members, District and Campus employees, and Parents
Parent access to their children’s school information is provided via the iDataPortal My
