Babur (14 February 1483 – 26 December 1530) was a conqueror from Central Asia who, following a series of setbacks,and finally succeeded in laying the basis for the Mughal dynasty in the greater Indian Subcontinent and became the first Mughal emperor.

Zahir- ud -din Mohammad Babur Babur was the eldest son

of Omar Sheikh Mirza and Qutlugh Nigar Khanum , but most importantly he was a direct descendant of Timur through his father, and a descendant also of Genghis Khan through his mother; hence, he identified his lineage as Timurid and Chaghatay-Turkic .

culture and this affected both his own actions and those of his successors, giving rise to a significant expansion of the Persianate ethos in the Indian subcontinent.

Zahir- ud -din Mohammad Babur In 1495, at twelve years of age after

the death of his father he become the ruler of Farghana but very soon he lost the throne of Farghana and live several years with out throne . In 1501, he laid siege on Samarkand once more, but was soon after defeated by his most formidable rival, Muhammad Shaybani khan from the Uzbeks. Samarkand, his lifelong obsession, was lost again.

from Fergana, for three years Babur concentrated on building up a strong army, recruiting widely amongst the Tajiks of Badakhshan in particular. In 1504, he was able to cross the snowy Hindu Kush mountains and capture Kabul from the Arghunids, who were forced to retreat to Kandahar. With this move, he gained a wealthy new kingdom and re-established his fortunes and assumed the title of Padshah.f Farghana .

founded the Mughal dynasty and regain Farghana . Later on Babur spread the Mughal kingdom all most all over the Indian Sub-continent and south Asia . He become very successful to do all this things for his powerful leadership.

Death of Zahir - ud - dinBabur fell seriously ill in 1530 and

died on 5th January 1531 . He was succeeded by his eldest son, Humayun. Though he wished to be buried in his favorite garden in Kabul, a city he had always loved, he was first buried in a mausoleum in the capital city of Agra. His remains were later moved to Bagh-e Babur in Kabul, Afghanistan. .

Observation of Babur's leadershipBORN LEADER Babur was a born leader ,

leadership was in his blood . As we discuss before he was descendent of two great person Timur and Genghis Khan , both of them were great leader and also great conqueror as well . So it is clear that domain of leadership has transform in Babur genetically .

Observation of Babur's leadership Transformational Leader We can say Babur was a

transformational leader because very often he used to discuss with people like Mir Ali Shir Nava'i , Husayn Bayqarah and he also create a parliamentary board including twelve members to discuss about taking any decision for his kingdom and he always tried become a much better king for his people . Like other Muslim king he never force any people of other religion to change into Muslim . And ensure equal right for people of every religion .

Observation of Babur's leadershipTransactional LeaderBabur was also a transactional

leader in war and as a conqueror . As a conqueror he always used to structure all the plan of war himself and it was always suspension for everyone what he is going to do next in the war . And he was very much successful in it . So we can told him a transactional leader as well .

Practiced both transformational and transactional leadership technique in different situation . So it is clear that he was a very skillful leader and he can also be called as a situational leader because he understand every situation and follows the pattern of leadership that the situation demand .

Conclusion……At the end we can say that Babur

is one of the greatest leader of all time .Because in every step of his life he lead his people and lead as a perfectionist .
