What We Plan to Do
17/17UNCLASSIFIED
18/17UNCLASSIFIED
*JTLS Order of Battle Editor (JOBE), JOBE Interface Navigator (JINN)
During the Database Preparation, we separate the existinc database into several parts by means of JINN. We deliver these packets to exercise conductor site. They prepare their partial database by using JOBE. They copy existinc units to create new units. At this step JOBE users don’t get any copy error or failure message. They save newly created and copied units in JOBE, and return the packets to us.
When we are merging the JOBE packets to the main database using JINN, we get copy failure message (due to unit-name, unit-coordinate etc.). This situation causes us to repeat the steps from the beginning.
Our demand is that:If there is any error during unit copying process in JOBE, JOBE
itself should warn the user about the error instead of giving error during the merging database by JINN. So that JOBE user can see the error early and correct them at the preparation steps.
Proposals
19/17UNCLASSIFIED
* JTLS users can easily access online player manual (OPM) pages for other Force Sides by opening an OPM and navigating to an enemy side. A password system is required for security.
* Syber-War can not be modeled in JTLS. Sometimes we need to play syber-attack to communication systems or missile-guiding systems.
