Objectives: Create a brochure advertisting the perks of living in the state of Florida
Process: I used Photoshop’s magenetic lasso tool tocopy the shape of Florida, the outline of the picture I took of the house, and to make the Ron Jon logo into a .png image. I also used Photoshop to create the montage images. I used Illustrator to make the surfboard shape, the Mickey head, the surfboard, and the wineglass. I used In-Design to compile everything and add background iamges

Objectives: Use blending to create a montage that conveys a spiritual message
Process: I found the image of the Bible on image and uploaded it to Photoshop where I applied a layer mask and used the brush tool to make the image lighter and with a slight blur. I uploaded the image of Christ, drew a rough outline with the lasso tool and added feathering to the image before ineserting it into the Bible picture. I then added all of the text, adjusting the bevel/embossing

Objectives: Use HTML and CSS to code a web page for a company
Process: I took the existing code provided by Brother Stucki and created a link to the Valhalla Wear logo I’d created earlier as well as the viking image I ob-tained from Google. Using CSS styling, I adjusted the fonts families, colors, size, positioning, and applied the coloring to the divs on the page. I also used CSS to add the background with fixed positioning

Project Title: Infographic

Objectives: Create an infographic that exlains a little bit about the movie industry
Process: I used Photoshop’s magnetic lasso tool to trace the outline of each letter in Hollywood and inserted the .png files into an Illustrator project. Using illustrator, I created the searchlights, the light beams, the Christmsa tree, the roller coaster, the football, the gender symbols, the pie graph, and the mountain backdrop by using the pen tool. I then adjusted to text by adding drop shadows and contrasting features

Objectives: Create an aesthetically pleasing presentation to explain some of the main cultural differences between China, Korea,and Japan
Process: I found the background image and all theother images from various sources on Google. I arranged them in a logically successive way to follow the outline of the tutorial, causing the screen to zoom, tilt, and shift with each slide

Objectives: Use Illustrator to create a conceptual image of a web page for a business
Process: I first used Photoshop and used the magnetic lasso tool to create the outlines of America and China and to add the Chinese text to the logo I’d cre-ated for another class. I used the pen tool in Illustrator to create the four quadrants of the yin yang, merged the shapes into a single image, and placed te ying yang as a linked image for the background

Project Title: Business Card and Letterhead

Objectives: Use Illustrator to design a logo for a company’s letterhead and business cards
Process: I used the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator to draw half the shape of the sword blade, which I copy and pasted as a mirorr image and combined the two shapes into a single object. I repeated the process for the hand-guard, hilt, and pommel. I used the color dropper tool to get match the colors from the HTML/CSS project. I added three rectangles, colored them, and sent them to the back to serve as a backdrop

Objectives: Use Photoshop to create the cover of a magazine
Process: I took a photo and uploaded to Adobe Photoshop. I adjusted the brightness slightly to make it easier to see. I used the pen tool to draw a ran-dom shape, which I filled with an image of static that I obtained from Google. I then added text and adjusted it by adding drop shadows and increasing the stroke width to the word “Rebel”

Process: I took a photo of a rose in a lake, uploaded the image to Adobe Photoshop and adjusted its appearance. I increased the vibrancy to give the image a crisp look and also accentuated the red tones in the image. I then created the extra shapes and added the text
