Company Overview
Transformation is made from
within. And for nearly two decades,
Renascent has been building the
landscapes of our clients through
quality construction, refurbishment
and fit-out projects.
Established in 1996 by Managing
Directors Andrew Melville and Tony
Hargreaves, Renascent remains
a strong business after 19 years
of controlled, sustainable and
profitable evolution.
With annual revenues exceeding
$100m and a passionate team of
more than 90 full-time employees,
we are proud of our financial
security, with zero debt and no
overdraft.
Skilled management and robust
safety frameworks govern
Renascent’s substantial and diverse
portfolio, whilst we are licensed
to operate in all Australian states
and territories, giving way to our
multi award-winning success and
high client retention. Renascent is a
leader in commercial construction
services in Australia.
At the core of this business are
the people, systems and on-site
protocols.
While things may change around
us, we remain a solid, unfaltering
touchstone, adept at delivering
quality outcomes on which clients
can depend on.
We understand the critical issues of
timing, the importance of effective
communication across a diverse
range of stakeholders, and how to
control complex staged projects
and sensitive environments. With
a wealth of experience on call,
Renascent has continuously and
successfully transformed built
environments across all commercial
sectors, including general
commercial construction, state and
federal government, hospitality,
education, health, and retail.
We are proud of our reputation
and achievements, and with the
same unchanging integrity and
community spirit, we look to the
future.

Renascent is committed to a thorough governance framework that is
subject to an ongoing internal and external audit regime. As a result,
Renascent sites are well managed, with all on-site personnel, from our
directors to sub-contracted labour force, adhering to a regimented site
safety, environmental and quality management framework.
For each project, our site team maintains a strict site safety set-up process
that looks to:
• Break down the job into logical steps / major
program tasks;
• Identify the potential hazards (health and safety) associated with
each step;
• Determine what control measures need to be
implemented for each hazard; and
• Identify which site manager is to be responsible
for implementing the control measure.
In addition to the site safety assessment protocols, all trades people who are engaged by Renascent follow a strict policy framework that governs the management of our sites.
Whilst all of our sites are different and have individual distinctions, our processes are regimented and consistently applied to each site. As a result, each site has a standardised risk management methodology, which is understood and applied by our delivery teams throughout Australia.
Renascent’s rigorous process is supervised by our full-time HSEQ & Systems Manager, and has led to the following external accreditations being maintained:
• ISO 9001:2008 – Quality Management System
• AS/NZS 4801:2001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• ISO 14001:2004 – Environmental Management System
In addition to external accreditations, Renascent is fully licensed to operate in every state in Australia and we maintain all necessary insurances, such as contractors all risk, public and products liability, professional indemnity and worker’s compensation.
