IAO was founded with the purpose of creating a Scien-tific Society that meets members’ needs for upda-ting in a professional that has changed completely in recent years. IAO sees its mission in bringing innovation to stu-dy, scientific research, and dissemination activities in the field of Osseointegra-ted Implant Dentistry with particular regard to Surgery and Oral Rehabilitation. Among its main objectives, IAO grants priority to the involvement of young and aspiring professionals who play such an important role in transmitting new ideas and enthusiasm.

FOLLOW THE
SPEAKEASY SWING
“In the summer of 1922, the tempo of the cit approached hysteria. The parties were bigger, the shows were broader, the buildings were hi-gher, morals were looser, and the ban of alcohol have backfired, making the liquor cheaper. I planned to spend the summer studying, and probably would have if I hadn’t been distracted by the reckless abandonment that beckoned to me from beyond the walls of that colossal castle owned by a gentleman I had not yet met, named Gatsby...”
from “The Great Gatsby” by Baz Luhrmann
It’s not summer and we’re not in New York, yet we share common roots with tho-se years. IAO has come to the end of its first year of cultural activity and wants to celebrate the along with the many other people who believed in the project and contributed to its development. People and their personal assets comprise the pul-sing heart of IAO, which wants to celebrate the excitement that comes from having accomplished this important task, with and during its 1st International Congress.
“And I like large parties. They’re so intimate. At small parties there isn’t any pri-vacy...”
from “The Great Gatsby” by Baz Luhrmann
Together with IAO we can celebrate the sense of belonging, the sharing of unforget-table moments, and follow the beat of our hearts with music. Let’s let both our roots be rediscovered and lauded, remembering where we come from, looking confidently to the future. Come to the Gala Dinner Friday, October 20, 9 pm at SuperstudioPiu on Via Tor-tona 27, Milan. There’s strength in a union, but also in a party!
