The aim is to address the continuous training programmes to schools with a project to make training an important part of
the achievement of the project’s objectives
Priorities
Main Programmes:
Summer grants: Courses in Catalonia and abroad: France, Germany, Great Britain and Ireland.
Contents: Methodolgy/Language/Culture
Number of places offered: 875 (abroad: 275)
Activities within the Plans de Formació de Zona (decentralized training) (PELE 2nd and 3rd year and courses/seminars/workgroups/congresses /,…). 1,500 places
Objective 1: Foreign language teachers
Specific programmes for infant and primary school teachers including methodological and linguistic contents ( 340 places)
Activities organitzed by other institucions (Teachers’ associations, British / French / German Institutes,……) and approved as continuous training activities.

Objective 1: Foreign language teachers
The aim is to train teachers to achieve the B1 and B2 levels
English courses during the school year at the official schools of languages (EOI). (Length of these courses: 130 hours, number of courses: 91 and number of teachers: 2,343)
English and French courses during the summer at the EOI. (Length of these courses: 80 hours, number of courses: 35, number of teachers; 875)
Grants offered in the regular EOI courses in different languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian and Russian (Length of these courses: 130 hours, number of teachers: 390)
Language courses abroad in the summer. (Length of these courses: 3 weeks, 60 hours. Great Britain and France: 230 grants)
