Graphite•Graphite is made up of carbon atoms.
• Chemical formula: C•It is an allotrope of carbon. Ex. Graphite vs. Diamond Graphite has the same chemical composition as Diamond, the molecular structure of Graphite and Diamond is entirely different.

What do we use daily that contains graphite?
PENCILS! The "lead" filling in pencils is in fact composed of a mixture of graphite and clay. If it was real lead, it would be very dangerous.
