Je Electric Power Associations of Mississippi (statewide) exists solely toserve eMciently and eKectively. Our employees, some of whom have served youfor decades, are deeply committed to your satisfaction. We are proud to helpsupport rural electriLcation in Mississippi because we believe in the value of theprogram to Mississippians.
Every service we oKer is tailored to our system’s unique needs, from commu-nications to government relations to emergency power restoration. And weproudly serve as the voice of Mississippi’s electric power associations. We have agreat story to tell and I’m proud to share it with others.
Statewide has an impressive history of service to electric cooperatives in thestate since 1943. The original purpose was to form a group large enough tocomply with insurance requirements to secure group insurance for the employeesof the member associations. During this early organizational period, the grouplaunched a statewide publication and established a safety program for memberassociations.
As the statewide association grew, it offered expanded services. By 1963, serv-ices included extensive work in the broad field of public, member and govern-ment relations; and a credit union for employees of member associations.
In addition to being responsive to our members’ needs and providing qualityservices, our goal is to be the respected, uniLed voice of all electric power associ-ations throughout Mississippi. And now, more than ever, people are listening!Working together, we develop a mission statement and implement a plan toensure the message will be delivered by a powerful voice.

THERE’S STRENGTH IN NUMBERS
Call Tanu JacobNRTC’s Regional Business Manager Serving Mississippi

No one knows that better than a rural electric. As the competitive and regulatory challenges intensify, you look for partnerships and alliances that will strengthen your business. We hope NRTC is one of those partners.
And, we share your philosophy. That’s what led us to partner with cutting-edge smart grid technology and workforce management companies, work with leading utility communications providers and invest in satellite broadband. We believe that by working with quality partners, we can innovate, expand and enhance the products, services and solutions we offer our members.
