Michael Rothe van Deventer, Product Manager for Solid
Edge SP, has over 16 years of experience in data
management and PLM. Before joining the Velocity team as
the development manager for Teamcenter Express Michael
held a variety of positions in the Siemens PLM
organization. He currently leads the product management
of Solid Edge for SharePoint. Michael holds a Master’s
degree in Computer Science from the Technical University
of Ilmenau.

What you will learn
This session will demonstrate how to manage projects in Solid Edge SP, Solid
Edge for SharePoint, and utilize them to facilitate change management scenarios
for Solid Edge. Focusing on the web client application, we will learn how to relate
different engineering data using the concept of item containers and the pre-
configured web parts Solid Edge for SharePoint provides. We will conclude with
exploring related information to quickly analyze change impact.
