Alignment and foundation of winches on board the vessel
All winches mounted on board the vessel shall be aligned in accordance with normal
practice for this kind of machinery and as per instructions from Promoter Hydraulics
referred in engineering manuals. The shipyard is responsible to manufacture and
supply foundations for all winches supplied from Supplier with sufficient stiffness to resist a deflection at full load, no more than 0,1 mm/m, if other requirements are not
given.
Hydraulic connections
All internal fittings on pipes/tubes up to outer diameter of 38 mm. are of triple lock JIC
37 Deg (flare type) according to SAE J514 and SAE J1453. These are steel fittings
with yellow zinc cobalt plating in accordance with ASTM B117. SAE normal steel
welding flanges are used on pipes with outer diameter bigger than 38 mm. All Pipes are
made of normal steel, according to DIN 2391-C St. 52,4.

3) CENTRALIZED REMOTE CONTROL PANEL 1 SET
The remote control panel is a drop in type designed for wheelhouse mounting into
operation control console with all functions indicated. The top would comprise a black
anodized aluminum plate.
The control system comprises electrical joystick which is able to operate 1 of the 4
winches, and link all of the 4 winches by single button so that all of the 4 winches are
synchronized and operated together at the same time. Also, the combination of the
winch operation can be selected within any of those winches.
The following typical control features are incorporated: -
1) Mast joystick - Pay In / Out for winches combination or individual winch
2) Main system and pilot system pressure readout for each winch
3) Clutch in /out selector with indicating light for each winch

4) ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC POWER PACK 4 SETS
The powerpack will comprise of triple type 3x90kW electric motors, 415V/3Ph/50Hz
power supply, class F insulation, IP54, TEFC. The motors will be flexibly coupled to the
hydraulic pumps and mounted on a fabricated skid base plate all suitable for below deck
mounting. All necessary components to be used in conjunction with the winch will be
mounted within the power pack.

5) WIRE TENSION MONITORING SYSTEM 8 SETS
The dynamic wire tension/length counter monitoring system consists of an enclosed
cabinet with tension/length counter digital display. The wire tension/length is
measured through load cell/proximity sensor which is installed onto the either vertical
sheaves or horizontal sheaves according to the rigging layout. The sheaves are suitable
for 64mm wire rope and incorporated with taper roller bearings and load pin.
The wire tension/length display functions are as below:
