I got word today that a previous long time member and club personality Travis Briggs has
passed away. Please join me in extending condolences to his family. We were informed of
this by his son, Mat Briggs and, in case you hadn‟t seen it, here is his email: I just wanted to let everyone know that my father Travis Briggs, aka
"THE HORN" passed away yesterday (9/14/10) at our VA hospital in
Dallas. You either loved him or hated him, but he was a true gear head
and had a passion for fast cars.
Thanks,
Mat Briggs
