IV. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

VI. Thou shalt not murder.

VII. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

PrayerThe Lord’s

Our Fatherwho art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come,

thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread

and forgive us our debtsas we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptationbut deliver us from evil.

Q. What is the first petition?A. Hallowed be thy name.That is: grant us, first, rightly to know Thee, and to sanctify, glorify and praise Thee in all Thy works, in which Thy power, wisdom, goodness, justice, mercy, and truth shine forth;further also, that we may so order and direct our whole life, thoughts, words, and actions, that Thy Name may not be blasphemed but honored and praised on our account.
