WHAT ARE STRAY ANIMALS?
MISSION STATEMENT• To help stray dogs in distress and control their population
through active public participation and mobilization of resources.
MISSION• Welfare of Stray dogs through practical activism.
VISION• Better relationships between Human beings and stray
dogs.
OBJECTIVES
• To educate public about rabies prevention.• To carry out the sterilization cum vaccination
programme to control the population of stray dogs.
• To promote adoption of homeless/stray dogs animals.
CORE ACTIVITY
• Sterilization and immunization of stray dogs – ANIMAL BIRTH CONTROL (A.B.C) PROGRAMME for Stray Dogs.
A.B.C PROGRAMME• Stray dogs caught by Municipal Corporation of
Greater Mumbai and Utkarsh Star Mitra Mandal (N.G.O.).
• Sterilization at Operation Theatre by Veterinary Surgeon
• Post Operative care of 7 – 10 days• Stray Dogs released by Utkarsh Star Mitra
Mandal (N.G.O.).
FUNDS NEEDED FOR CONDUCTING ANIMAL BIRTH CONTROL PROGRAMME
• Van to Transport dogs for sterilization • Running costs of ABC Programme• Maintenance of ABC Centre• Sponsorship of Food and Medicines • Doctors and staff for conducting ABC Programme
HOW YOU CAN HELP?• Donations (Exempt Under Section 80G under Income Tax
Act, 1861)• This programme falls under Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) Activity under Schedule VII of Companies Act, 2013 in item (iv).
• Donations in Kind – Foods products of Dogs, Bread, Milk, Medicines etc)
• Adopt of Stray.
