IntroductionAviation, in all of its forms, has transformed the world in countless ways and continues to evolve; improving capability, safety, security, and efficiency through the continued advancement of technology. With the use of Information Technology there are current problems that can be solved. As technology is evolving at a rapid rate improving many industries. It seems fitting that aviation follows by adding in technological advancements in daily business where improvements can be made to be more efficient.
Low Level Windshear Alert System or LLWAS
Wind Shear is defined as a sudden change of wind velocity and/or direction in either the vertical or horizontal planes.

Components of Low Level Windshear Alert System:1- LLWAS Anemometers 2- One or two central data units (CDU) 3– LAN 4-Workstations and Displays
The commonly used workstation types are Weather View, Forecaster, Observer, and Remote Control and Maintenance workstations.
Ice on different parts of an aircraft frame
Factors affected by ice on the surface of an airplane
When ice is formed on the wings it increases drag and reduces lift when taking off
Ice on the front of the wing stops the air from flowing smoothly
Ice can also form on the engine this also increases drag and stops the air from flowing smoothly
Air tends to fluctuate more due to ice on the wings
Technology used to eliminate the ice
Anti-icing: this is used before the aircraft enters a frozen condition in most cases carburetor heat or deicing fluids are used
Deicing: this is used after the plane has caught a large amount on its surface. For this it is common to use deicing equipment.
For propellers or engine what is used is deicing fluids which are applied by rings on the propeller hub or in other cases with electrically heated elements

ConclusionIn conclusion IT and general technology reduces issues that are present in the aviation industry. From uses to prevent accidents, to assess risk and safety management. With general advancement in technology which has helped the industry by development in de-icing aircrafts and weather radar. It can be forecasted that other aspects of IT will be integrated to resolve problems.
