Mostcurrently,AnitaworkswithnationalclientssuchasDonaldA.GardnerArchitects,America’sHomePlaceandSouthernLivingHousePlans,creatingpenandink/colorrenderingsfeaturedontheirwebsitesandintheirquarterlyandbi-annualmagazines.

Inthepastfewyears,Anitahasbeenpaintingandexhibitinginfineartshowsandgalleriesaswellasofferingtraditional/digitalpaintingclassesandworkshops.

BattalionChiefandChiefofOperationsCurtisShaverisadedicatedandexperiencedfirefighterwithTroyFire&Rescue.Hehasover20yearsofexperienceinthefireandEMSservice.Heisskilledintheareasofemergencyresponseprocedures,staffdevelopmentandleadership,policyandproceduredevelopment,firefightingtechniques,andcoaching,training,andmentoring.withtheAlabamaFireCollege.ChiefShaverwasinvolvedinahorrificfarmingaccidentin1993attheageof18wherehewasentangledinapieceoffarmequipmentwasrescuedbyTroyFire.Afterthataccident,ChiefShaverhasdedicatedhislifetogivingbacktotheorganizationsthathelpedhimsurviveandtomakingadifferenceinothers’livesastheydidforhim.

Beforegraduatingfromcollegein1993,LoriSizemore-WarreninternedwithMelodyPerkins,courtreportertotheHonorableCharlesPriceinMontgomeryCounty.Upongraduation,shestartedreportingwiththeformerfirmFoshee&TurnerinBirmingham,Alabamawhere,alongwithtakingdepositions,workedwiththeHonorableWayneThorneforseveralmonths.Laterthatyear,shemovedtonorthAlabama.In2002,LoriformedSizemoreandAssociates,LLC,afirmshelatermergedwiththenewlyformedFreedomReportingin2006.“Ihavehadthewonderfulopportunitytoworkwithmanyseasonedcourtreporters,manyofwhomweregreatmentorsovertheyears,andwasaffordedtheprivilegeofworkingalongsidemanyrespectedlawyersandjudgesaswell.Iwouldnotchangeonethingaboutmycareer.”However,in2015,shefeltitwastimetostartanewchapter.Beingarealtimewriterisoneofhergreatestaccomplishments.Oneofherfavoritememoriesasacourtreportertookplaceinthedepositionofagentlemanwhowashearingimpaired.After

thegentleman’slawyersteppedoutoftheroom,hebegantoexplaintoLorihisinabilitytohear;andthathemayhavetoaskthequestioninglawyertorepeathimselfoverandover.Ashewasmakinghisapologiesforhisimpairment,Loriturnedhercomputerscreenaroundandshowedthegentlemanhoweverywordwouldbecaptured;explaininghowhewouldbegiventheabilitynotonlytoseethelawyer’squestions,butalsohisresponses.Thelookonthegentleman’sfacemadeallthosehoursofworkingonherdictionaryworthit.Althoughtheprofessionofcourtreportingisgratifyingenoughinandofitself,Loriisespeciallyproudoftwoprojectsherfirmtakesanactivepartin,TheVeteransHistoryProjectthroughNCRFandtheMyGuardianAngelProject.ShealsoenjoysbeingthechairoftheboardofdirectorsofAsburyThriftStore,anon-profitorganizationthatgivesgrantstohercommunity.
