Dear SUNTREK Friends!
I clearly remember going on my rst camping vacation as alittle boy with my family. I was so fascinated by this style oftravel, that in 1970 I organized my rst Adventure and Funtour for friends and students in Europe. Based on my vision foran ideal adventure vacation for young people, I started myown travel business. I was still a student at the time.
When I led my rst tour on the American continent in 1978,I felt like a pioneer: full of enthusiasm and awestruck by thebeauty and vastness of this great continent. Everybody wasthrilled with what they experienced. I was inspired and deter-mined to show this incredible country to as many people asI could. I wanted people to see the real America as part of asmall group of friends traveling like the old pioneers.
In 1982 SUNTREK became a corporation and startedmarketing to travel companies and tour operators around theworld. With a lot of hard work, experience and expertisefrom our loyal team here at SUNTREK, we have grown intoa world-class adventure travel company. We have diversiedour tour selection and destinations over the years, but wehave never given up our pioneer spirit or our eye for detailand quality. An example of this is our guaranteed depar-tures, offered since 1986, which assures your vacation inNorth America is not cancelled a few days prior to depar-ture. We continuously improve our tours to make them moreenjoyable for you by listening carefully to our customerswishes and suggestions. I proudly believe that SUNTREKoffers a superior travel experience.
I would like to thank all those involved for their support anddevotion to SUNTREK. Thanks to our extensive and well-established sales agent network in over 40 countries aroundthe world and you our friends, who keep coming back andrecommending us to your friends. Come and join us!
