Our horses are truly
dedicated to their work -
highly trained and keenly
attuned to conditions in the
bush wilderness.
OUR HORSES
Help care for the horses if
you wish; feeding,
grooming, saddling up,
cleaning tack, cutting
grass feed.
Learn how to secure the
horses on overhead long-
lines for safe grazing in
the bush.
Horses are the bridge to entering the CulturalLandscape of Mavuradonha Wilderness, withoutadversely affecting the natural eco-systems orhuman communities. Zero impact; no roads ortrails cleared through the bush; we ride on tracksmade by wild animals or find our own way acrossthe terrain.
We can accommodate riders with intermediateto professional level riding ability. Each safarigeared for the skills and interests of the group.
We ride in predominately English saddles, leather
and synthetic, and also a selection of AustralianStock Saddles, local McLennan Saddles andhandmade South African Trail Saddles. Most ofour horses are ridden in a snaffle bridle.
