Constructing Quilt Center Pieced Blocks
1. Arrange and sew together (4) QST to complete (1) pieced block. Make a total number of blocks for each fabric combination. Square to 8½”.
2. Arrange and sew together (4) QST to complete (1) pieced block. Make a total number of blocks for each fabric combination. Square to 8½”.
Constructing Inner Border #2 Pieced Blocks
3. Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of (1) 2½” A square. Place square, RST, at a corner of (1) 4½” F square. Sew on drawn line. Trim ¼” away from sewn line. Open and press to reveal A corner triangle. Repeat with (3) additional 2½” A squares at the remaining (3) corners of the same F square.
4. Make a total number of blocks for the following <prints>:

Quilt Center Assembly
5. Pieced rows. Arrange and sew together a total of (5) blocks to make a pieced row (pieced and patch blocks, when appropriate). Make a total of (5) pieced rows. Rows are shown below. Sew together pieced rows to complete quilt center.

6. Appliqué. Prepare appliqué pieces using method of choice. Refer to quilt image for placement guide, ar-range teapot, teacup and flower appliqué pieces on quilt center. Once happy with placement, sew pieces in place using appliqué method of choice.
Quilt Top Assembly
7. Inner border #1. Sew (2) 2½” x 40½” A strips to the opposite sides of quilt center, followed by (2) 2½” x 44½” A strips to the remaining opposite sides of quilt center.

8. Inner border #2. Arrange and sew together (22) pieced blocks to make a pieced 2x11 column unit. Make (2) column units and sew to the left and right sides of quilt center. Refer to the diagrams below for reference. Then, arrange and sew together (30) pieced blocks to make a pieced 2x15 row unit. Make (2) row units and sew to top and bottom of quilt center. Refer to diagrams on Page 8 for reference.

9. Inner border #3. Sew (2) 2½” x 60½” A strips to the left and right sides of quilt center, followed by (2) 2½” x 64½” A strips to the top and bottom of quilt center.
10. Inner border #4. Sew (2) 2” x 64½” G strips to the left and right sides of quilt center, followed by (2) 2” x 67½” G strips to the top and bottom of quilt center.
11. Outer border. Sew (2) 4” x 67½” B strips to the left and right sides of quilt center, followed by (2) 4” x 74½” B strips to the top and bottom of quilt center to complete quilt top.
Finishing
12. With the backing fabric laying taut, place batting and then quilt top to form quilt sandwich.
13. Baste sandwich. Quilt as desired.
14. Bind with Fabric N to finish quilt.
