The function of our Job Catalogue is to provide clear descriptions of positions available in AIESEC
Islamabad to new members or members looking to change positions.
The Job Catalogue provides a clear idea of the commitment level required by each member byestablishing accountability, relationships, time commitments, and most importantly a detailed
description of what each position entails.
PORTFOLIO DESCRIPTIONS
INCOMING EXCHANGE (ICX)
The Incoming Exchange portfolio is responsible for the delivery of one of AIESECs highlight products:
Exchange. This is done by creating, maintaining, and building on the external partnerships and
relationships with AIESEC's corporate stakeholders and Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs). ICX
members market the Global Internship Program and Global Competency Development Program to
companies, responding to recruitment needs and allowing companies a direct link to a global
network and the international potential of young people. Through servicing activities they ensure a
high number of quality internships for incoming interns and provide a source of partnership revenue
for the LC. Additionally, this team is concerned with matching the company with an intern. ICX also
has the task of ensuring that incoming interns from other countries have an enjoyable and
comfortable stay.
PROJECTS
Projects, a relatively new addition in the structure is responsible for the inception, organization and
operation of issue based projects termed as Projects Based on Exchange (PBOX). Members of the
projects team supervise the LC projects and try and secure grants or sponsorships as a potential
source of revenue. The portfolio requires passion and great deal of effort from the members.
FINANCE AND LEGAL (F&L)
The Finance and Legal portfolio is responsible for the budgeting, tracking, and reporting of AIESEC'srevenues and expenses. Using standard templates, financial software, and financial policies and
reporting procedures, AIESEC produces accurate and consolidated quarterly statements that keep
the financial history of the Local Committee intact, resulting in transparency and ensuring
accountability within the LC.
OUTGOING EXCHANGE (OGX)
Outgoing Exchange (OGX) is one of the three Exchange portfolios of AIESEC in Islamabad. The main
aim of OGX is to facilitate the outgoing process of providing quality exchange to AIESEC members
and Exchange participants from Raising to Matching and finally to Realizing them to global AIESEC
internships. The team efforts are concentrated on ensuring that this process is completed

successfully by providing clear expectation settings through effective promotion, maintaining quality
through following the Global Competency Model and by developing lasting professional ties with
foreign AIESEC Local Committees.
BRANDING AND COMMUNICATIONS (B&C)
Having started its functions as part of the Marketing and Communications portfolio, B&C is now an
independent portfolio in its own right. The focus of Branding and Communications in this term will
be not only to provide support to other portfolios but also to cater to promotional, branding,
information management, public relations and communication needs of the LC. In addition, its
members' work will also be centred on enhancing brand recognition, increasing brand awareness
and creating brand value for the LC within AIESEC and corporate network.
EXTERNAL RELATIONS (ER)
The External Relations portfolio deals with the aspect of interfacing external stakeholders primarily
the companies in the Corporate Sector in terms of sales, brand positioning and overall engagement.
This portfolio is responsible for selling different AIESEC products best suitable for the companies,
increasing avenues of engagement with our external stakeholders, creating opportunities for
externals to interact with AIESEC members and redefining existing AIESEC products to reflect more
customer focus and value addition.
The most rewarding portfolio in AIESEC, External Relations gives you corporate exposure. With ahuge clientele of AIESEC all around the world and with the market potential of expanding the AIESEC
network in different industries all over Pakistan the members shall be given a true chance to develop
and hone their communication and negotiation skills and get to develop close relationship with
industry leaders also helping them with their future endeavors. External Relations is the most
delicate portfolio of all as they shall be representatives of AIESEC in Islamabad throughout the whole
Industry.
TALENT MANAGEMENT (TM)
Talent Management is responsible for the professional and personal development of the local
committee as well as the recruitment, induction, tracking and development of an AIESECer. Talent
Management plays a crucial role in the allocation of talent and mapping the leadership pipeline of
the LC. TM has the role of ensuring that each member in every portfolio has a meaningful job
description and is equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to accomplish whatever task
they have been set. TM also plans, organizes and carries out the annual recruitment campaign for
AIESEC. The functions of TM are divided into four modules: Member Education, Experience
Management, Human Resource Management and Performance Management.

AIESEC International has divided iGIP into four sub-products all over the globe. Those four sub-

Timeline of work
Before start of term:
Create personal development plan (including competencies) with VP TM
Play an active role in the LC Leaders Meeting Attend all national and local conferences and seminars

During term:
Responsible to follow this time line and keep the VP updated
Responsible to meet VP ICX each week to discuss weeks progress and potential solutions
Responsible for educating the members on the product and accompanying them to meetings
to provide first hand training. Be a link between the team members and the VP ICX and facilitate the training process. The
TLD must communicate to the VP any need or gap in training that the members might be
feeling and organize meetings between the team and the VP to fix these problems.
Hold weekly team meeting with the team.
Accompany the members on sales meetings till they are trained enough to go on their own.
First 3 meetings are minimum for each member.
Ensure proper follow up with each partner approached by any of the team members.
Maintaining the quality of partner servicing by the team members is the leaders
responsibility. This includes follow up, collecting cheque, filling of evaluation forms, handling
any conflict etc.
Responsible for setting up meetings themselves and taking members along. Also the leader
