What is AIESEC?
Present in over 2,100
universities in 110 countries and territories with over 60,000
members, AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-run organization. It is a
global, non-political, and non-profit organization run by students and recent
graduates of institutions of higher education. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers
young people the opportunity to participate in international internships, experience
leadership and engage in a global learning environment to get experience and skills that
matter today.

Meet AIESEC AdMU
AIESEC Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) is
top Local Committee in the AIESEC in the Philippines. Ever since 1969, it
has been producing high-quality industry leaders and has been the gateway of the
Ateneo community to the global network of AIESEC International. In the past 5 years,
AIESEC AdMU has continuously improved its performance in terms of number of exchanges
and leadership roles. It recently won the highest honor, overall excellence award for
AIESEC in the Philippines, with 5 categorical awards, also the most among all the local committees in
the Philippines.

Team Experiences (TXP) to our members. And this TXP
goes two ways: it ensures that AIESEC adds value to its

TEAM MEMBER PROGRAMME
The value proposition of the Team Member Programme is: to gain hard and soft skills access
the global network of AIESEC. The overall experience needs to give an entrepreneurial and
responsible attitude towards being a better leader.
The value proposition of a Team Leader Programme is: to gain personal and professional development. The overall experience needs to give an entrepreneurial and responsible attitude towards being a leader.
HOW WE DO ITThe process in which we select and develop are members is three-fold.
RECRUITMENT AND
SELECTION PROCESS
TEAM LEADER PROGRAMME
Interested applicants go through our five-‐week long recruitment and selec.on process in which we carefully screen and select new
recruits for the coming year. AIESEC looks for applicants who share in the interest of developing their leadership poten?al and in crea?ng a
posi?ve impact on society.
PERFORMANCE AND PIPELINE
These two processes work hand-‐in-‐hand when it comes to developing our members and achieving our organiza?onal goals. It ensures that the roles that are needed to fulfill our goals are constantly filled and that our members are performing at their best. In addi?on, our organiza?on takes into account the personal goals and ambi?ons of the members ensuring that we can align these to the roles available to maximize their poten?al.

Talent Management is also making innovations to improve the membership development program - motivating the members and aligning personal and
organizational goals.

This is an initiative geared towards providing those under the Team Leader Programme training in non-functional skills in order to
manage their teams and fulfill their tasks more effectively.
MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FUND
This is an initiative of the organization to entice members to perform at their highest. Incentives such as financial assistance for national events like conferences are given to high-performing members.

What can a learning partner do?
Education Sessions Skills Training Knowledge Resource
Entities that offer education sessions provide
information focused on increasing global
awareness and instigating change. These sessions are
meant to empower our members to be positive
change agents and to bring about a better working culture with each other.
Entities that offer skills training are more long-term and technical than entities
providing education sessions. Entities that
provide skills training give sessions that are geared
towards improving technical skills. These sessions would
be conducted for a fixed period of time at regular
intervals.
As this type of learning partner, entities provide us with the service similar to what a consultancy firm would to. They would provide us with their
expertise on how to improve our short- and long- term
operations to allow us to be more effective and efficient
in achieving our goals.

Working on a project that is aligned to my advocacy has been fulfilling. Helping
foreign interns educate children makes me feel

My team leader experience challenged me to go beyond personal limits.
This experience, in general, challenges you to persevere. It's not easy to lead a team
and in general, it's difficult. Despite all that, my team leader experience has been one of
the most fulfilling roles I've had. The team leader experience challenges you--
challenges you to do better, challenges you to develop yourself while developing others.
If I may add, it's through my team leader experience here in AIESEC that I
discovered (or perhaps developed) certain skills that I have now. The fulfillment not only
comes from the things you discover or the things you do/have done but also from the
people you meet. :)
I've never been ac?ve in an organiza?on before. I joined AIESEC because it offers a global plaHorm,
which you can't find in other organiza?ons. I stayed because I've seen how the members develop
their skills and I've seen the impact AIESEC can make. It feels great knowing you're contribu?ng to something bigger than yourself.
