Training programs developed by SEW’s DriveAcademy® are designed to provide an overall better understanding of how SEW-EURODRIVE products can be best used in various applications, as well as more in-depth knowledge of specific products. These courses enable you and your staff to get the best possible preparation and end result out of the products used in your specific industry.
By using the same training facilities and models that we use to train our own staff, our courses provide hands-on experience, while limited class sizes guarantee the personal attention you deserve. Courses are offered at any one of our SEW-EURODRIVE DriveAcademy® centres across Australia or alternatively they can be held by request on-site.

Training Courses developed by SEW-EURODRIVE’s DriveAcademy® are designed to enable your employees to get the
best possible preparation for their day to day work with training that includes many practical exercises in addition to
the necessary theoretical fundamentals. You can choose the venue where training is held, whether it is on-site or at
any of our DriveAcademy® centres across the Australia.
Proximity to our customers is important to us, so to avoid any long journeys we offer scheduled courses in Melbourne,
Sydney, Brisbane and on request in Perth and Adelaide.
Optimum learning environment
The training courses at SEW-EURODRIVE’s DriveAcademy® are ideally suited for hands-on experience. Multifunctional training
models enable the participants to be optimally prepared for the tasks and problems they will encounter in their daily work, along
with experimental facilities help to provide clarity to all questions in a practical way.
Prerequisites for onsite Training
More often than not training takes place at SEW-EURODRIVE’S DriveAcademy® facility, although we can also hold training at your
premises on request. A training room with the below prerequisites will be required:
- Sufficient room size for participants and training models
- Projector and screen
- Whiteboard
- Depending on the demo units, 240Vor 2*415V, 16A sockets are required
- Sufficient outlets for training models and laptops

RegistrationWe request early registration in writing. The sales and delivery terms and conditions of SEW-EURODRIVE Pty Ltd are bindingly accepted upon registration.
CancellationCancellation must occur in writing. Cancellation of a confirmed registration can occur free of charge up to 4 weeks before the start of the training. 50% of the participation fee may be invoiced where cancellation occurs a week before the start of the training.

However, we do not assume liability for any mistakes in the technical information imparted verbally or in writing in the training or contained in the training documents provided. This exclusion of liability does not apply in cases of compulsory liability for intent or gross negligence.

In the case of training on-site with the customer, participants will adhere to the customer specific safety and accident prevention regulations. Furthermore, the on-site safety briefing instructions are to be followed.
