The YOUNG ARTIST COMPETITION
an avenue for young jazz musicians to create and
collaborate with one another, expanding on the traditional
concepts of jazz and improvisation
The competition is open to all high-school and college-aged (16-22) student jazz ensembles based in the
greater Los Angeles Area
WINNING ENSEMBLE RECIEVES:
• $1500 cash prize • Perform opening set of the 2016 Festival
