In First Year Experience Student Success courses (LM40, CSL20, HLTH2, CLP30, READ126), students will learn to:

1. Identify and access appropriate college resources
2. Articulate a basic understanding of the structure of higher education, including educational planning for career and transfer pathways
3. Identify and apply self-management strategies, including time, stress, and financial management
4. Articulate a deepened understanding of self
5. Define goal-setting strategies and develop personally meaningful goals
6. Articulate and implement concepts related to personal health and wellness
7. Identify their unique learning style and strengths, employing these understandings in the development and implementation of study skills and strategies
8. Employ strategies for effective interpersonal communication
9. Utilize basic tools within the Canvas computer learning management system
