Aquaguard Pool Resurfacing System

(Instruct ions for use of Aquaguard pool resurfacing system on concrete sw imming pools and f ibreglass pools)

1. a Acid w ash new rendered concrete w ith 20:1 HCI or

b Sand blast painted surfaces or

c Acid w ash marblesheen w ith 5:1 HCI

2. When dry, prime w ith Fibretech Primer Coat using Nuplex SR Catalyst at a rat io of 2%.

3. Laminate w ith 225g CSM and Fibretech Laminate Coat using Nuplex SR Catalyst at a rat io of 1.5%

4. Once laminate has cured, sand off sharp f ibres and repair any air bubbles.

5. Apply Fibretech Fillcoat using Nuplex SR Catalyst at a rat io of minimum 1.5% by w eight (low temperature

eg 15° C use 2%). Apply w ith long nap applicat ion roller.

6. Allow to cure (minimum tw o hours). Sand off any defects.

7. Only apply Aquaguard Topcoat out of direct sunlight (either late afternoon or preferably early morning).

Use a minimum of 1.5% Nuplex NR20 Catalyst. Keep a w et edge at all t imes. Use a long nap applicat ion

roller.

8. Never apply to damp or dust coated surface.

9. Approximate material usage per m² of pool:

Fibretech Primer Coat 0.4kg/m²

225g Chopped Strand Mat 0.25kg/m²

Fibretech Laminate Resin 0.8kg/m²

Fibretech Fillcoat 0.6kg/m²

Aquaguard topcoat 0.6kg/m²

10 To use on exist ing Fibreglass pools w ithout osmosis, sand the ent ire surface, t ile around the w aterline and

complete steps 5 onw ards.

11 Allow topcoat to cure for a minimum of 4 days before ref illing the pool.

Note: Longer cure times will be required during the cooler months and at no stage during the curing cycle

should the topcoat be exposed to wet weather.
