•The APS Calculator calculates Average Points Scores as an aid to data analysis for schools. •It allows teachers and school leaders to make progress comparisons for groups of children and individual subjects. •It has calculators for each Year Group in Primary Schools, which can be used for reading, writing, maths, and science. •It also lets you calculate the APS for different contextual groups within the school, for comparisons of the attainment of - for example - Free School Meals and non Free School Meals children.

The new graphical features work automatically. As you fill in the data the graphs displayed on
each screen populate to give you a visual representation of the data. These graphs can
subsequently be copied into other documents or PowerPoint so that you can present the
information to any key stakeholder.

The APS Calculator works as an excel spreadsheet. Simply enter your Teacher Assessment data
termly or annually and the calculator does the rest.
