Definitions
• Articles– A special kind of adjectives.– They include: a, an, the.
• “A” & “An” refer to any person, place, or thing.
• “The” refers to a particular person, place, or thing.
Rules
• Use “a” before singular words that begin with a consonant sound.– A jet– A high step– A clock– A Christmas tree
