Ephesians 5:15-20
15 Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, 16 making the most of the time, be-cause the days are evil. 17 So do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 Do not get drunk with wine, for that is de-bauchery; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, singing and making melody to the Lord in your hearts, 20 giving thanks to God the Father at all times and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Next Week’s Scriptures:
Ephesians 6:10-20
*Large print hymnals are available at the usher table if needed.
*There will be no Children’s Church today because of Communion Sun-day. Children are encouraged to attend church in the sanctuary with their families.
The General Board of Global Ministries is the
worldwide mission, relief and development
agency of The United Methodist Church,
working with partners and churches in more
than 115 countries to equip and transform people and places for God’s mission. They
currently have response efforts going on all over the world in relation to covid and oth-
er disaster relief efforts. More information on ways to donate or to get involved can be
found at https://umcmission.org/
Community Garden The community garden is looking for some “Weed Warriors” to help with the ongoing maintenance in the garden. Our volun-teers currently work on Tuesday and Friday mornings. We would love to have you join for one hour a week, or as much as your schedule allows. We can assign a particular task that you feel comfortable with such as watering, pulling weeds, clean-up, etc. Our community garden is a wonderful way to make contact with our surrounding neighbors and gives us the open-
ing to share Christ’s love. Please contact Melly Locke, Laura Sollars, or the church of-fice if you would like to get involved or if you have questions. We would love to have you!
