To mark the 50th Merdeka Anniversary, The Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) and its member institutions are pleased to celebrate with the nation by pledging 50 scholarships to nurture young talents in Malaysia.
If you are a full-time Malaysian student in your fi nal year of study at a local public university/private university/university college, you are invited to apply for the ABM 50th Merdeka Scholarship.REQUIREMENTS
Final year of study Attained CGPA 3.5 or higher Not currently in receipt of any fi nancial aid or rewards from any organisations Agree to serve the sponsoring institution for 1 year, if required
AREAS OF STUDY
Information Technology, Business Administration/Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking, Law, Engineering(Other relevant disciplines may also be considered)
VALUE OF SCHOLARSHIP
RM10,000 per candidate
APPLICATION
Interested candidates may write directly to the banks listed below, enclosing the following:-
Personal details and passport-sized photograph Previous years’ results and/or forecast results of the last examination Department Head or Dean must endorse application
Deserving students from lower income families will be given preference.
Please state “ABM 50th Merdeka Scholarship” on the top left hand corner of the envelope. Applications may also be sent via e-mail to the respective banks.
