Crochet Critters! OMG! I want them all. If you've never tried your hand at crochet, or are a crocheter, but never “hooked” amigarumi
critters, try this! Unlike traditional teeny tiny amigarumi you can use any weight yarn you're comfortable with to create
these fun animals. Basic crochet stitches, working in the round, finishing, and embroidery are all part of the process.

Fingerless Crochet Mitts! If you've never crocheted before this project is a great place to start! You'll learn how to create a foundation chain,

Circular Knitting Workshop! Are you tired of knitting back and forth on scarves? Then this is the workshop for you. In this 3 hour class you will
learn how to knit in the round using circular needles. We will show you several methods of joining in the round,
keeping track of your rounds, identifying your stitches in the round, and how to bind off. You'll go home having started
on a cowl, the perfect project for exploring circular knitting. Coffee Mate - Series 1 Workshop! Add to your "knitter’s toolbox" while getting started on some holiday gifts. Learn a Provisional

stash in your bag, carry with you just about anywhere and once complete dress up your favorite
cup or tea or coffee.

Coffee Mate – Series 2 Workshop! Brioche is another stitch to add to your skill set. It is a fluffy, reversible stitch that makes you

Chart Reading Workshop! As your skills grow, it is important to learn how to read a chart when knitting. Each of us processes information in a
different way. The balance between written direction and reading a chart will only enhance your knitting experience.

Gauge/Swatch Workshop! Oh, that dreaded word…swatch! Let’s learn about it in a creative way. Knit the entire workshop while

Downton Cowl! This cowl is a great way to dip your toes into the world of lace knitting. Knit with DK weight yarn, this class will show
you knitting in the round, directional decrease, chart reading, and tips for blocking lace. The drape and detailing of

Two Color Brioche! Using Purl Soho's “Brioche Hat and Cowl” you can achieve dramatic results. A little “barking and burping” and a lot

Open Sky Shawl! This great beginner shawl is both cozy and quick to knit, designed by Andrea Mowry. Choose either DK or Worsted

Spinning Open House! Open spinning group for all local spinners in the area. Bring your wheel and spin
with us. We will be meeting the 2nd
Thursday of each month to spin, share and learn from
each other all while having fun. Work on finishing some of your beloved projects.
Skill level: Must have experience and have a working spinning wheel that travels!

Acid Dyeing Workshop! Our first workshop was a hit! Join us in creating a one of a kind skein of yarn by acid dying.
We will start with a simple warm up exercise to get the feel for the way colors blend. Next, use
a hand-painting/pouring method to dye your own skein of yarn. You will learn the basics of
dyeing and go home with your unique skein.

Natural Dyeing Workshop! Natural dyes create unique colors that are set apart. Learn the basics of natural dyeing. Using materials the earth
provides. Special for this season are golden rod and black walnut. It is an exciting creative process! You will choose a
few colors to dye a skein of wool that you will take home.

Beginner Drop Spindle! Enter the world of creating your own yarn using a drop spindle. We will learn the fundamentals of spinning fiber and

Beginner Spinning! Have you ever felt drawn to the spinning process and thought 'someday I'd like to do that'? This is the time! This
class taught by a Master Spinner will be an over view of spinning fiber on a wheel. We will start with a raw fleece
and learn the skills that will allow you to spin your own yarn on your wheel. We will go from sheep to yarn!
A spinning wheel in good working order prior to class is required.
