Best Practices FOR SERVICING AIR FILTERS

• No substitutions. Filters may look almost identical,butevenasmalldifferenceinsizecanpreventagoodsealoraffectairflow.Selectingafilterbyfitalonemayalsogiveyouthewrongmedia.

• Don’t remove an air filter from its housing simply to inspect it. Removing and replacing thesamefiltercancausedirtfromthegasketsealingsurfacetodroponthecleanfiltersidewhenthegasketisreleased.

• Never hit a filter to try cleaning it. Rapping hardenoughtoknockoffdustdamagesthefilterandcanplaceyourengineatriskfordust ingestion.
